It was really peaceful and quiet. The cabin is super cozy and the views are incredible. You can relax an unwind and enjoy both sunrise/sunset from both the living area and bedroom. Location is also great, at around 10sh minutes from Langley and close to coffee and grocery store.
After communicating with the host to clarify the lack of beach access, she took down the pictures of the listing that were misleading. The view is spectacular and the cabin has everything you need. The bathroom and shower is tiny which was challenging for my 6'2" husband. However, the host went out of her way to supply fresh water, ice, shower steamers, and beautiful fresh flowers from her property. It's a great central location for all of the Whidbey beaches and towns. The host's house and three dogs are a stone's throw from the cabin on one side and on the other side the back deck is a stone's throw from the neighbor's back deck with bushes in between.
This was a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The views were incredible and the cabin was exactly what my wife and I needed for a quick getaway. The descriptions were spot on, and the check in/out process was easy. If you’re looking for peaceful silence, this is the spot.
We went on a lovely weekend getaway in early June. We were surprised by how many cool restaurants and shops were within a 10 min drive and enjoyed driving through the different neighborhoods and towns, while still being in the woods. The house was super cute and well kept. Since we went early in the season, it was still a little rainy and the foliage was a little overgrown so we didn’t get a chance to use to deck/hammock. However, that did mean we got to utilize the living/dining room a lot and we played a lot of games while absorbing some vitamin D through the beautiful picture window when the sun did decide to come out a little :)
Beautiful location with stunning views! Deborah was quick at responding to a question we had. The cottage was clean and so pretty! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

The property is beautiful and we were in awe of the rhododendrons along the driveway leading into the property. The cottage and exterior need a major investment in cleaning and upgrading basic things like the chair cushions, plants in cracking pots, deep cleaning of upholstry and carpet. The gazebo appears not to have been touched in quite some time with a cracked roof. The outside glass table for example seemed to have been left untouched from the winter with grime covering the surface as I put my notebook to do some writing. The place feels rather tired and worn-out. We did appreciate the flashlights and battery candles on hand.
Beautiful property and view, well supplied cottage, good location for getting to Langley, Freeland and Greenbank… private with flowers, pond and tall treed woods.
