Kids love to go fishing at the stocked Beaver Lake in the heart of town or stop to see the giant blocks of white marble that were used to build the Lincoln Monument. Walk the paths at the Marble Mill Site park to go back in history to see the ruins of the old Marble Mill.
For the more adventurous, in the summer, float or kayak the class III / IV Rapids on the Crystal River through Bogan Canyon .
