Great place!

We live lauderdale by the sea and haven’t been in years. We were so happy to find a place. The girls loved having their own kitchen . It was like their very own suite. The pool was out our front door. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was our second stay at this property. It was perfect, just like last time. Very adequate and great location. We have 4 teens, so location is more important than luxury. We cooked a few times. The kitchen is exactly what we need. Walk everywhere. Lots of towels. Lots of dishware. We will be back.

Really nice property with a great location

Very nice and spacious apartment in a small complex. Well kept pool, also has a laundry room. 10 min walk to the beach and about 15 to the restaurant/bar area. Free parking along with a nice quiet neighborhood. The owner, Jim, is great to work with and responds to text messages right away. His property manager, George, is a phone call away with any questions. Wifi provided, free parking, and each room has a TV with cable. Would easily stay here again.

Great apartment, great location

Large apartment with 2 well sized BRs, 2 full baths with plenty of towels, and a kitchen that has nice appliances, plenty of cookware, dishes, cups, glasses, and silverware. Well kept and clean. Property owner is very responsive and accommodating. Just a few blocks to the beach, and the apartment has beach chairs. Nice pool on the premises. No negatives to point out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

So much better than a hotel!

We have spent Christmas in Lauderdale by the Sea for more than 20 years, staying in an oceanside hotel. This was our first visit to Jim's condo, and we can't wait to come back. The location is fantastic: 3 blocks to the beach, less than 2 blocks to the Publix grocery store, 4 or 5 blocks to the heart of LBTS, a fantastic seaside town where you never need a car. There are so many details that Jim has thought of for his guests: large rooms with plenty of storage space for all of your clothing, luggage and gadgets; comfy queen-size beds; plenty of beach towels, chairs, and beach toys; more than enough linens and towels to get you through your stay; 3 TVs; a shelf of books; excellent internet; all sorts of cookware and dishware and, most importantly, a dishwasher. The best part was that there are only 8 units in the building, so we often enjoyed our breakfast and lunch alone poolside. Even when there were other guests at the pool, there were plenty of chairs and lounges. The heated pool was also a great alternative when it was too windy for the beach. The condo has plenty of information for first-time visitors, but here are a few of our favorites: 101 Ocean (happy hour and dinner); Tacocraft (Taco Tuesday is a great deal); and LaSpada's for the "best damn hoagies in town" (their slogan for 50 years, and they aren't kidding!).

Not impressed at all, old, dirty, broken down.

Our over all review of this property is poor! Not well kept, furniture stained, walls dirty, rusted old furniture on patio with no view at all but bushes and wall from building next door, ants in the bathroom, bleach stained towels, sandy half broken chairs in clothes closet, basic necessities not provided like garbage bags, paper towels and only 1 roll of toilet paper. It is not 1.5 blocks to the beach it is 3.5. What looks like a great stay in pictures and description is very deceiving and we would not stay again! Evolve should know more about the properties they are representing, considering they are the only contact up until check in instructions. By then everything is paid in full with no refund, so nothing can be done once arrive and see where your really staying. We have stayed in many condo's over the years and this property is not one we would recommend or rent again!

Great location

Great place to stay great proximity to the beach and close enough to enjoy surround big cities. What really stood out was the rental manager George who graciously greater us even though we arrived late and gave us a very warm welcome!

Great Customer Service

I stayed here with my husband and his daughter and her boyfriend for 2 weeks in August 2022. It is a comfortable unit, only 4 blocks from the beach. His daughter and boyfriend went to the beach daily. They would load up their backpack and carry two beach chairs and an umbrella and stay there practically all day. Since I am a little older, we would walk to the beach in the morning but would hang out at the pool most days. The quiet complex has a very well-maintained, clean pool with plenty of chairs available. Every now and then you would even see the local iguana come and visit. What I liked best about my stay was the customer service. George met us, on time, in front of the unit and checked on us sporadically to make sure everything was going well. Further, when we departed, I mistakenly left some documents in the bedroom, I was contacted immediately about the file, and since I needed it, George sent it over night to my home, without charging me! In today’s world, who does that?

Wonderful stay!

We have stayed here for several years now and have not been disappointed. The improvements that were made are fantastic and our host Jim is outstanding. A couple small issues with electrical were handled quickly and efficiently. He always stays in touch and is easy to get a hold of. The condo is perfect, roomy, clean and close to everything. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect Location!!

Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, within walking distance to Publix, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course, the beach. Property is clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the heated pool during our stay. This place has everything you need for your home away from home. We will definitely be back!

The property is within walking distance to everything (beach, stores, restaurants, etc.) yet far enough off the main roads to be a quiet getaway! The heated pool was perfect for those non-beach days! Jim the owner was so easy to work with and gave us some GREST recommendations for experiencing the area! The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. The only reason the review is not 5 starts is the condo is a bit dated and could use a little TLC. Other than that, it’s perfect!

Accurate description, spacious, grata location, great host

Fantastic location, spacious apartment, dated and not spotless, but was was ok for our needs. Well equipped kitchen, towels, beach chairs, etc. etc. The apartment comes with a fantastic heated pool, 2.5 blocks to the beach, walk to restaurants & shops, Publix, CVS., etc.

Perfect location, close to everything!

We are 2 couples that stayed Oct 4-Oct 7 at this property. The unit was very clean and the kitchen very well stocked. Location was close (easy walking distance for seniors in their 60’s) to the beach, Publix and shopping. We went to an excellent breakfast restaurant First Watch located at the end of the street around the corner from Publix. We enjoyed the pool. Our only criticism are the bed pillows but that could be a personal preference. Also- the closet with beach stuff was a little scary, so full of “stuff” that we opened and closed it quickly!

Great stay!

We love LBTS for many years, it belongs to our favourite locations and Sandy By The Sea is our favourite place to stay. Our 6yr old daughter calls it "our beach house", LOL! :) It never disappoints, the property is always clean, well maintained, we never experienced any issues, plus the property manager and owner are easy to contact and always ready to help! We will be back again for sure!

Overall great condo

We have rented Jim's condo for the last 8 years.It is already reserved for next February. Best price / value ratio in the area. Close to the beach, Publix, restaurants and lively downtown...5 steps to the heated pool: YA! Clean well maintained. Owner responds quickly if any issue pop-up. Heaven!

First time we have stayed at this condo. Wonderful! Everything we could have asked for! We met a nice couple who rent here every winter and can’t wait to see them again as we’ve already booked again for next January. Host Jim is great and accommodating. Location is perfect.
