Location great, place not so much

Checking in was great and location is amazing. The place had ants everywhere and zero air conditioning. Felt over 100 degrees inside. So we could not stay there with our kids.

Great location and comfortable accommodations!

No air conditioning makes for really hot afternoons in living room and entire upstairs as there are large windows facing west and inadequate shade … if temps over 80 degrees gets super hot inside and doesn’t cool down until well after dark. Also an additional charge of $40 a person to use the pools and beach and two of the Four burners on the stove did not work…… otherwise the condo is well stocked , great layout and location, comfortable beds and furniture with pool and beach access as well as a boat dock (no additional charg) within super easy walking distance. We had a great time!

Very nice

I did not enjoy the check in process. There were lots of papers to sign and warnings and threats of possible fines. Typically I've used a key code at front door and gone about my business. I've stayed at lots of condos and VRBO listings before and never had this. The staff was nice though, especially Mavis who was quite kind. We only were allowed two cars and that wasn't convenient. Home was clean, in a nice area and convenient, beds were very comfy and kutchen was well stocked. I would recommend.

Amazing!

Check-in was a breeze, 24 hour help! The property was very clean and just the right size for our group. Great location near the lake. We LOVED the gas fireplace and ultra comfy beds! The hot tub use is an extra fee and we were unaware, so we did not experience that, we were also told not to use the BBQ on the patio. We were able to enjoy ourselves and felt 100% safe.

Disappointed

We just stayed in Tahoe 9/15-19. Sadly, there was so much smoke from all the fires and all the trails and beaches were closed. While we completely understand the need to protect the locals and their living environment, everyone we dealt with was rude and unhelpful. I had called the property management office a few days before our trip because I had received notice of everything that was closed in the area. This was a much needed vacation and we were not going to be able to do anything we planned. While I understand the fires and air quality is out of anyone's control they refused to let me change the dates of the trip. We decided to go and make the best of it which would have been fine except that we felt more like intruders than guests. The people in the association office were rude and made us feel like our inquiries were burdensome. The overall experience was a complete disappointment. We love Tahoe and will definitely return but there is no way I would stay here again.
