This is a 1750 square foot home on Core Sound that has recently been renovated. It features an open floor plan with a large kitchen, counter seating for 4 and a dining table for 8, all with spectacular water views. There are 3 bedrooms(2 downstairs and 1 upstairs) and 3 baths. The home will sleep 8 comfortably. There are 2 covered porches and a large waterside deck with comfortable seating. Outside there is a covered cooking area with grills and gas cookers. Launch your kayak off of or tie your boat to the pier. Bait the crab trap that is provided and enjoy a meal of blue crabs and rock crab claws. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washer and dryer provided for your convenience in a laundry nook off of the main bathroom.
You may see dolphin in the sound or bald eagles in the sky.

We come to Atlantic every year for a relaxing week. The house was great, comfortable, and has a well-equipped kitchen. We met the owners and they are super nice. Residents are always friendly and helpful. You will enjoy your stay “down east”.

Peaceful Getaway

Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful! The home is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. We especially loved the peaceful setting and the stunning view of the sound. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The fishing and crabbing right from the dock was excellent, making the trip even more enjoyable. Peaceful and relaxing destination

Dream week on the coast

This house did not disappoint. Stunning views of the water from everywindow .. so beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend that everyone take a day and go to the Davis Ferry rent the Kubota and go to Cape Look out for the day .. it was amazing.. We caught lots of fish right off the dock and had fun trying our hand at crabbing. lol catch and release of course.. thanks for everything we will definitely be back .

Great time Down East

Perfect location! Loved the house and the deck are wonderful! Our cousin lives in Atlantic, so we had the best time clamming, fishing and setting a mullet net! Lots of laughs and great food! We even tried paddle boarding! I highly recommend this property! I will be booking again, in the near future!

Peace and quiet just what we were looking for.

The inside was very nice. Large kitchen. Love the outside deck to sit at night and watch and listen to the ocean. Got to see lots of different birds and we got to see dolphins. We would do this again.

Atlantic Getaway

Wonderful property, very well stocked with all you need. George is a wonderful host, makes you feel welcomed, and responds to any requests right away. This home is so great for a true getaway and to unplug. This is being in the country at the beach.

Great time had by all!

We had such an amazing time. This was our first trip visiting NC. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the dock and the porch. The kids enjoyed paddle boarding on the sound, catching crabs and looking for shells. We enjoyed traveling and exploring nearby towns during the day and coming back to the best place to relax and unwind. We look forward to visiting again!

Always amazing!

We just finished our 6th summer at the house. It was amazing as always. We brought our boat and fished the sound. We also crabbed and caught shrimp off of the dock. The house was clean and well equipped for cooking.

Relaxing Vacation

Thank you for a wonderful stay! George and Margo are amazing hosts! They are two of the most genuine people and made sure we knew how to contact them if we needed anything! The area is very quiet and great for unwinding. The kitchen is well stocked with all the needed items to cook meals which made dinners easy to prepare. The house has amazing views and we were able to see dolphins, birds, crabs, as well as shrimp boats coming in and out of the marina. We were able to keep our boat at the dock and spent time fishing in the sound and on the dock. We had a great time and will be back soon!

We have been coming to Atlantic for the past 25 years to go shelling and fishing on the beautiful Core Banks. Core Banks can be accessed by Ferry from Atlantic. Since we retired we have been looking in this area for a house and purchased this home in November 2017.

Why they chose this property

What drew us to this house was the beautiful location. The house has large glass windows across the front that allow you to enjoy the gorgeous views. The open layout is conducive to informal family fun.

What makes this property unique

The private pier can be used for crabbing, fishing, and kayaking in Core Sound. The Cape Lookout National Seashore is only 2 miles across the sound and can be accessed by kayak, boat or a ferry that is located only a mile from the property. The fishing village of Atlantic is quiet and secluded but Beaufort and Morehead City with great restaurants and shops are located less than an hour away.
