It was a great spot on a great lake. Property was spacious and comfy. Was visiting family in the area but wanted our own space. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Dennis.
Dennis was a great host and always available to answer questions. We really enjoyed our stay amidst the beautiful pines and lovely clear lake. The boats are only allowed to make wakes between 11-4pm which made it peaceful and relaxing for us. The house had very charming decor and was roomy for the four of us. Thanks Dennis!
The property was perfect. Roomy, clean, beautiful. Dennis is the friendliest and most hard working host we have ever had! Just a pleasant wonderful man.

Thanks so much Gary. Loved having you and your beautiful family.
Once again, we had a great time at Windswept. We arrived Wednesday afternoon and other than walking around the lake each day, we never left the site. We are already booked for next year. Thanks Dennis and Beth!
Wonderful time, wonderful host. Communication was good! Pearl Lake is a 42 yr family home spot. The cleanest spring fed lake, with great amenities at your reach.
Dennis and his family have a beautiful cabin, and every amenity you could think of.
Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a fantastic time here! The house is beautiful, clean and spacious, plus we had everything we needed. The lake was very peaceful and the water is super clear! Really enjoyed the kayaks and the floating lake platform. Just an FYI.....Paddle boat didn’t work the best...we brought a lake mat/lily pad for the kids to play on which was a big hit! We will be back next year for a longer stay! Thank you!!
Really enjoyed this cabin! Nice and clean. Perfect space for all eight adults. Lake was amazing. I’m not a “lake water” person and I even got in!
Owners very nice and helpful. Neighbors very friendly too.
Made many memories paddle boating, kayaking (both provided), paddle boarding, fishing, jumping off the floating dock and just hanging out and playing games. Beautiful views too!
Would definitely recommend. Fun for all ages!!
Our family enjoyed the many lake toys provided by the host. Pearl Lake is a gem; clean, sandy bottom and filled with fish for our grandson to catch. Dennis addressed a leaking sink immediately. Needed bottle water to drink and cook with. Wished there were less steps to the lake, but the trip down was so worth it.
The property is spacious and homelike. It has everything you need to sit back and relax. The lake is clean, and the fishing was decent for the time of year. There are some big gills to be caught. We caught bluegills, perch, and largemouth bass.We appreciate that the property is pet-friendly. The added exercise of climbing and descending the 62 stairs was sometimes daunting for us and our dogs, but we made it. The water is eggy, so drinking water is a must. The lower level is very damp and would benefit from a dehumidifier that drains into a floor drain or sump pit rather than emptying it twice daily. The king bed on the main level was VERY comfortable. I'd like to see it with a headboard, bed skirt, and nicer bedding. The potential is there to make it a little more luxurious. There is a boathouse downstairs, and it has a refrigerator to hold your live bait. It would be nice to have a light switch for the stairs when you get off the water a bit later than anticipated. There is a kayak if that is your thing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would suggest this property.
I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cozier cabin. And the pictures truly don’t do it justice. It was just two of us and we had far more space than was needed. We ended up booking it based on the reviews on the space and the host. This place was absolutely amazing.
And so was Dennis! You can tell you’re renting from a kind and accommodating family, which added to the enjoyment of using the property. Dennis was flexible and prepared with recommendations. He was completely accessible to every question we had. He told us about the smelly water in the house. We brought our own and honestly with so many highs this place had we didn’t even think about the water. You won’t either.
The property itself has two levels, a huge porch on the first, and each open up to the steps to the lake. We fished and took in the quiet serenity of the water. We relaxed by a fire at night. We were looking for a peaceful, stress-free retreat and that is exactly what we found. I honestly can’t wait to come back and experience a more lively trip in the summer!
10/10 stay here with your friends, your partner, or your whole family. You will not regret it.

Thanks so much for your review Emily. I suggested bringing bottled water because this is well water even though it has been tested as good to use. Normally the water doesn't smell (suffer smell) but in this case the water wasn't used in a couple of months. When the water is run for awhile the smell will go away. Thank you so much and hopefully we will see you in the summer.

The water of Pearl Lake was amazingly clear and clean.
The home was very nice and well kept. Provisions were of top quality including the towels, grill, water toys, etc. the lake was beautiful! That you so much.
We had very nice time. The lake was clean and clear and the cabin was very nice. It was everything we wanted. As others have stated there were a lot of steps down but nothing we couldn’t handle.
Overall the trip was a great success. Swimming i the lake was phenomenal and getting to go kayaking was a big plus. The only downside was that the water in the house had a heavy sulfuric smell. Not a big deal for everyone, but we had out 9 month old daughter with us and we ended up washing all of her bottles with purified water and kept our showering brief. The host was great at communicating with us and was very accommodating.
The property was amazing. The waterfront is a gem and fun for all. Having the kayaks and inflatables to use in the lake was great. The cabin was exceptionally clean and maintained. The owner was very responsive to inquires, too. We hope to come again.
There were some steep and numerous steps down to the lake. We had alot of fun in the water. The house had enough beds for our group. It isn't far from Milwaukee.

Beautiful property!
This is a stunningly beautiful lake front property. Lower star ratings on accuracy of listing and communication with property owner due to air conditioning. The listing said there was air conditioning which two in our party needed on very hot days (we had two) due to health conditions. I explained before arrival that this was important to us but upon arrival the window air conditioners were not installed. The property manager needed help with the installation which I was happy to do but in retrospect, that should not be the role of the customer/renter. I asked ahead about what type of grill and it is gas. I was told there was about an hour of propane left but the tank was empty. Bad timing to have to run to the hardware store when there is a hungry crew waiting for brats. Attention to detail is critical as a property manager and it seemed the property wasn’t quite ready when we arrived. Overall, and despite very stormy weather (I blame god for that), it was a very relaxing stay at a gorgeous quiet lake.
This place was really nice. We did a lot of rest and relaxation. We sat around the campfire and talked. I wish the weather would have been nicer, but Mother Nature had other plans. One thing we didn't like about the place was the stinky water. We didn't want to drink it even though it says it is safe. A few of the beds had big dips in the mattresses, but overall, we loved it. Dennis was super nice and helpful. Beautiful place and great location. Thanks for letting us stay at your cabin!
Our family had a wonderful time at Windswept! Dennis was an amazing host. Very informative. The house was perfect for our family of 9 (plus 2 dogs). The lake is so clear. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend!!
