About this property
Located at the foothills of the Hocking Hills
At the turn of the century my great grandfather and grandmother, George and Golda Scott, purchased this farm.
In 1963, when my father graduated from Ohio State with a degree in agriculture, Great grandpa George gave him and my mother this farm.
My parents farmed this (along with about 900 other acres) and raised three daughters here.
After my parents’ death in 2004 and 2005, I, Dalelene, that middle daughter, and my husband, Dave, and our youngest daughter bought the farm and relocated here from Lancaster. We are so happy to live here.
After living “back home” for five years, we decided to use this beautiful farm for more than just a residence.
The George and Goldie Cabin is a way we thought that others would enjoy our 80 acres. So, with the help of Ron White Builders, we built our first cabin to allow others to experience the calmness, serenity, and solitude of our family farm. We named this first cabin after my great grandparents, George and Golda (I called her Grandma Goldi) Scott; the George and Goldi.
We hope you enjoy the property and remember with fondness, your time here.

Everything was as listed. Ww don't have a bad thing to say about our stay. Loved the fire pit. We had our first two fires of the year. It also gave us an idea of how to enhance our own fire pit.
We had an amazing time celebrating my bday at this beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful and private. The hot tub was a large comfortable one and the fireplace was perfect! They had great directions explaining how to use everything in the cabin. We had a little friend cat come visit us while we were enjoying listening to the wildlife. We love the history of the place

So glad you enjoyed yourselves. My daughter has seen the cat a few times but it’s been elusive.
We hope to see you again.
Everything was as described! The view was great (even on the last day when it snowed) My husband enjoyed some relaxation in the hot tub. Great location for OU parents to stay!
Beautiful property, great amenities, easy directions, good communication from the hosts! It was perfect for the 2 of us & we appreciated it being dog-friendly so we could bring our fur baby along!

We had a wonderful stay! The property offers beautiful views in a peaceful, bucolic setting, with the soothing sounds of nature all around. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset. The home is also pet friendly, which made our trip even more special. Dave and Dalelene were responsive, thoughtful, and very accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was absolutely perfect about our stay. The hosts were great and have made the check in and out process simple and easy. The land was beautiful and learning the family's connection to their farm and cabins was icing on the cake.
