Great stay!

Just had an amazing stay at this property. All amenities you could possibly need were available and the location is prime. The beach is at your front door, bar/restaurant next door, and taxis easily accessible if you want to leave the property. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Unit and View

The unit was exactly as described and so much room. Tastefully decorated and the view was amazing. Really like the 2 full baths for getting ready. Kitchen was well stocked.The king size bed was very comfy. Tons of bath towels and beach towels. Nice portable beach chairs that we used when we went to Lindquist Beach. The chair service at Sapphire Beach was great and free (we did tip). Location is close to Red Hook. We liked the keypad style lock so we never had to worry about carrying a key. The host was super to work with and if we ever return to St. Thomas, we would stay here again.

60 Year Anniversary!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The owners supplied everything we needed to go to the beach. Beach chairs, towels even a beach wagon to haul everything in. We loved our stay. It was clean and very comfortable.

This was a great location to stay for our first visit to St. Thomas. The beach is great, and the close location to the Sapphire Beach Bar and Duffys Love Shack was excellent. The condo was nice and clean and had everything we needed for the beach.

Amazing location

The property was amazing. Literally steps to the beach and beach restaurants. Our host reached out as soon as we checked in to make sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in St. Thomas.

This was a hybrid honeymoon. We had a blast getting to know the island and Seasalt restaurant was amazing!!!!! Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go and there is so much more to do!!!

Third visit to the island

We decided to rent the condo this trip and it was amazing. The condo is 5 minites from Red Hook and the ferry parking garage. We cooked dinner and breakfast several times and just watched the waves from the dining area. Would stay here again on next trip to island.

The condo have absolutely everything our family needed for the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many beach items, coolers and games. Our family had an amazing time and would definitely book this condo again. Loved the beach was just a few steps from the condo as well as dining options and coffee bar.

Perfection

This is our second year staying in Crystal Cove. The location is perfect. Everything we needed was just a short drive away. We swam with sea turtles every day and woke up to amazing sunrises. The grounds are beautiful kept and the housekeeper was very friendly. We appreciated the beach wagon, beach chairs and beach towels provided. We rented two condos and had a party of 8. Everyone had a wonderful time and we will be returning.

Girls Trip

This condo was perfect for our girls trip. Both beds were comfortable. Loved having 2 bathrooms. The condo had everything you need for a beach vacation. Tons of beach towels, chairs, toys & rafts. Location was fantastic. So close to Sapphire Beach. Loved the beach bar. Must try the fish tacos and pina coladas or BBC’s. Hope to visit again.

Awesome condo! Would definitely stay again...

The condo was wonderful, very private and steps from the beach. We felt very safe with the gated entrance and we were able to hop on the $1 van to reach all of the shopping and restaurants. The lights went out for a short time which apparently happens every now and then on the island. The host communicated with us immediately whenever we had questions and we could not have picked a better condo. Beautifully decorated, peaceful and ideal for beach lovers!

Exceeded our expectations!

I would give this place ten stars if I could! One of the best units we have ever visited! This property is well maintained and is equipped with everything you could possibly need! Just a short walk to the beach, a boutique & 5 restaurants. This was perfect for our family as we enjoy spending the majority of our time at the beach. If you want night life or lots of shopping.... this neighborhood isn't for you. Thank you Rachel & John for a wonderful visit!

Ok for a short trip.

Accommodations were “ok”. For the price, it’s about what you’d expect. Hot water heater was not working consistently with either shower - had to wash our hair in the sink the first few days before the property manager was able to come out and change the batteries in the hot water heater to get it to fire up consistently. We ended up getting another room on St John for one of the nights to be more comfortable. Location was ok if you’re willing to walk further down the beach to the nicer resort.

Exceeded Expectations

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The condo was exactly as described. The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. There is plenty of additional linens, beach towels, cooking essentials, and beach/play equipment. It is stocked with almost anything someone may need to enjoy a great beach vacation. The location is extremely convenient. A short walk to Sapphire Beach. There is a beach bar/grill on Sapphire Beach that has great hamburgers and happy hour drinks. The condo is a short taxi ride to Red Hook. And there is easy access to taxis that will take you anywhere on the island. Just be aware of the regulated taxi rates. We had several taxi drivers attempt to overcharge us. Overall we were extremely pleased with our trip and if/when we return to St. Thomas we would happily rebook the Purple Lotus.

Great location. Beautiful beach. Unfortunately, there was no hot water and the phone number for the property owner went unanswered. The office was not able to help or reach the owner. Reaching out through VRBO did elicit an immediate response and the owner explained that the phone number listed several times on the VRBO page was no longer the correct number. The property owner stated the hot water issue was an easy fix, but did not offer to have anyone come over and stated he would be next "guest" at the property. The TVs did not work and turning on the shower head in en suite bathroom was not intuitive.

Check In

The stay was nice, great location & nice condo. But - when we "checked in" we used the code given us, got in, put out things away then went for a walk. When we returned the code did not work. Called the only contact number given us and it went straight to voice mail. After 15 minutes of no return call googled "Vrbo phone" and called the booking office. They got us a new code from the owner. We used it to get in the tested it again to be sure it worked but it did not work upon multiple test. Luckly for us there was a bottom lock with a key and the key was in the condo so we only used the key lock for the remainder of the stay. The next day the owner finally called with the "correct code", were told that we had been given an incorrect code. New code worked but tend tested again it did not work so only used key lock for the remainder of the trip. Tested that code they day we left and it worked. Don't know what would have happened if the second code did not get us in and if there was not a keyed lock. There needs to be a property manger on site with an over ride key if needed. Did not appear there was one

Beautifully renovated looks like designer showcase

The unit was very comfortable- great bed, well stocked pantry, new furniture and kitchen, beautiful everywhere you look. The owners were very nice and generously provided snorkel equipment, chairs, towels, books, games. Everything was perfect except we came after the hurricane and did not have Wi-Fi or TV. Also we had trouble getting in the gate and door key box. The instructions on VRBO are not current . The owners sent us the updated info in a VRBO email, but I did not see it. Also there was no one there to meet us because we came late. Just be sure to get there before 5:00pm so that you can help from the office if needed. The beach is the most beautiful in the world.

While there are many beautiful beaches in St. Thomas, most of them require you to drive, park and walk to. There is nothing like the luxury of walking out your door with a towel and sunscreen and stepping onto the beach where you are greeted with free beach chair service and the delightful breeze coming off the crystal clear water.

What makes this property unique

The great benefits this property has to offer is that it is just steps to the beach in a small, private, and secure in a gated location. It is 3 minutes to the center of popular Red Hook that has many shops, great restaurants, and a grocery store. Its also very close (3 minutes) to the ferry docks if your interested in venturing out to some other islands. No car, no problem as I Crystal Cove is also on the bus line. You can book many tours and activities right from our location. Come and have some fun! You can play tennis, swim, snorkel, scuba dive, take a tour, island hop, charter a boat, or just relax...the options are limitless. Namaste!
