Shared Lake Frontage Resort on an all sport 3000 acre lake just a short walk to the beach. With playgrounds fully equipped kitchen, full size frig and stove, microwave, toaster, all dishes, cookware, crockpot and blender. Bathroom is furnished with bath linens. 2 full size beds one with a twin bunk on top, a queen sofa sleeper with all bedding. Window air conditioner. Outside furnishing which includes a gas grill and patio furniture. Free Wi-Fi

This includes a boat slip for your own boat. You will enjoy your own fire pit too!! Shared fire pit down to the lake just bring your own chairs.

Close to shopping and restaurants and just 7 miles to Gun Lake Casino! Minutes to Bay Point Inn Bar & Grill, check out their Wednesday night live entertainment. Not far from US 131 Motor Sports Park. Grand Rapids Airport under 30 minutes away.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and so cozy. We didn't have much time to explore the area due to being in town for a wedding, but we did walk down to the lake prior to leaving and the area was beautiful! Starr was very sweet and so great to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little cabin!

Had a nice weekend there. They have a lot of what you need for your stay. Quite pleasant area. Host answering questions very fast. Overall had a lovely time.

Early Spring Stay

We went early spring to stay for a weekend. It was a great little cabin with a short walk to the water. We really enjoyed the fire and sitting on the deck. Thanks for a great experience Starr.

Great location, outdoor fun

The location was great for an event in area. Loved the playgrounds! Water was too cold to swim in, but the lake was beautiful, especially for full moon. Just make sure to ask host for cabin number. We were able to figure it out based on pictures and host responded quickly to us.

Relaxing visit

The property was as advertised. House was clean with the essentials provided for a nice stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. Gunn Lake is beautiful. There is a wildlife recreation area close by with miles of hiking trails. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

It was a quiet and restful stay. A couple of issues but were addressed very friendly and promptly. The pictures of the inside of the cottage didn't show that the rooms are open at the top of the room, so if there is a light on it also brightens the room next to it. Overall a good stay.

Cozy little cabin

We didn't spend much time at the cabin - mostly to sleep and prepare breakfast but, for the limited time we were there it was quite comfortable. Only thing I would recommend is fluffier pillows (just my opinion - some like the flatter ones)

Nice Cottage!

We went to a weekend wedding at the Bay Pointe Inn and this was perfect for the family and our two dogs to stay. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the activities at the resort, but they looked like it would be perfect for a family. The host live next door and asked several times if there was anything they could do for us. Thanks, we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent cottage and awesome hosts!

Rich and Starr were excellent hosts. The cottage was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. Very clean! The communication was excellent before and throughout our stay. They helped us on where to put our boat in and any other questions we had considering this was our first time there. Would definitely recommend using rich and Starr!!! Thank you!!!

The place was great for what we were looking for - stayed for 2 nights for a wedding at bay point inn. I liked how it came with a paddle boat. I wish it had a full length mirror - it was hard for all of us to get ready for the wedding with only a small bathroom mirror. Also, not much privacy since the bedroom walls don’t go all the way up so you can hear everything lol

Lovely Fall Weekend

My family including two kids had a really lovely long weekend at this cabin! The small cabin was perfect and had everything that we needed. The kids loved the fire pit and the various playgrounds. We also made a day trip to Saugatuck State Park and the dunes, which was about 45 minutes away. One note is that the walls do not go all the way up between the two bedrooms and the kitchen/dining room/living room. This was not a problem for our family, but if more privacy is needed, this could be an issue.

Wedding weekend

This is a great cottage we used as a home base for the weekend. Also close to the lake if utilizing that feature. I appreciated the lower price point since we just needed a place to get ready and sleep. Things to note: -Walls do not go to ceiling so very open feeling, and sounding. -Sleeps 7 - I recommend a family or girls/boys trip. Minimal privacy in cottage. -One small bathroom, with the only mirror. Overall a great cottage as long as you know what you are getting. We very much enjoyed the space, location and cleanliness!! 😁

Cozy cottage for family fun

Our family stayed here for 8 days in October. It comfortably fit 4 adults, a young toddler, and a big dog! This cute little cottage has all the comforts of home. Cozy couches, 2 bedrooms, an open kitchen with a full size fridge and stove, toaster, tea kettle, microwave and all the dishes, pots, pans and utensils you could need! We were able to grocery shop and enjoy home cooked meals together at the dining table inside OR outside at the picnic table on the deck. The good size propane grill on the deck was such a bonus for BBQing! Our little grandson was able to cruise around the whole living/dining room area in his walker no problem! The bathroom is quaint, but we sure had nice hot showers and the 2 heater units in the cottage kept us all so comfy on those chilly October nights. It was a super short stroll down the walking path to the dock and a beautiful lake. We had free access to the paddle boat every day and it was awesome! So peaceful out there! Our grandson was able to play in the sand in the volleyball area by the dock, too! He could have spent our whole vacation there! We would walk as a family all around the complex of cottages and we enjoyed making s'mores as we sat around the fire pit in the evenings. We made so many fun memories there and we'd choose this place over a cramped hotel room ANY DAY! What excellent hosts!

We bought two properties in this resort. We use one for our family. We have 6 grandchildren that love coming out to ski, tube, swim, fish and have some campfires. We rent the other one to help us pay taxes, association fee and up keep. I work for the county of Kalamazoo and my husband has recently retired.

Why they chose this property

This is a great lake for a family. Its shallow and great for small kids. It offers lots of activities on this lake.

What makes this property unique

Nature trails on the lake. Different beaches around the lake for the public. Close by restaurants, casino. Restaurants you can access from the water.
