This cabin is perfect!!!

We decided we needed some relaxing family time over Thanksgiving. This cabin was perfect. The drive from Atlanta was easy, the cabin was spotless and adorable, and it was only a short drive to many activities. I would highly recommend this cabin, and we can't wait for an opportunity to get back!!

Great cabin

Cabin was perfect for 4 adults...Cabin was very clean and well furnished and all supplies were there (we had packed everything & it was nice to have everything already there). It was also convenient to all areas from Dahlonega to Helen to Sautee.

Our new favorite place in the mountains....

We loved everything about the place. Not much of a reviewer, but let me just say it's our new favorite place to stay. Good view, nicely equipped with everything you need. Wonderful area and close enough to Helen for us to go twice. Really close to Brasstown Bald, and many hiking trails. Loved the bed. Next time I may donate some new pans though, although they did the job for sausage and eggs in the morning.

Mark and Odalys, This is an excellent cabin. Everything was well labeled and thought out for the us. Beds were very comfortable. The mountain views from the porch was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. This cabin is conveniently located to access all of the beauty of North Georgia. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a small family or friends getaway. Thanks for the hospitality and we hope to return to this wonderful gem again soon.

very relaxing

After hurricane Irma and no power for three days, it was nice to just relax for a day or two. Weather was hotter than we had expected but was still very nice. The cabin was great. Loved the screened porch and the view. This is a lovely cabin. Fell in love with the quilts. Wish i knew where they got them.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

My wife and I drove up from the Atlanta area for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We were very happy with how clean and comfortable everything is. The cabin is perfectly located far enough away from the city, yet close enough for excursions. We were able to visit Brasstown Bald (the highest elevation in the state of Georgia), participate in a wine tasting at a local vineyard and have dinner at the Dillard House all in one weekend. Odalys and Mark were very detailed and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation Cabin

Our stay at Songbird Mountain Cabin was great. We meet friends there and the cabin comfortably accommodated four people. Relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day was a must; we also enjoyed having a fire in the fireplace. Our day trips included the Sorghum Festival, a picnic at Crane Creek Winery and Brasstown Bald Mountain. The cabin is immaculate and the beds are great. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the upstairs porch and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking dinners. A fun time! Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful Get Away!

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Songbird cabin to celebrate our anniversary. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable times we have had in quiet some time. The cabin is fantastic. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It has all the comforts of home. It is also centrally located to all the area sites. We enjoyed musical entertainment at a local winery, fine dining at near by restaurants and natures beauty. We look forward to coming back again during other seasons to enjoy the views and all the area has to offer.

Great Mountain Getaway

When we arrived, the property was spotless and beautiful. We enjoyed the morning views of the sun rise over the mountain tops while enjoying our coffee on both of the porches At night we enjoyed the hot tub and watching fireflies and the sounds of crickets. The only bit of advide I would give is to try to arrive before sunset. The directions we were given were perfect, just difficult to find after dark. The hosts were always accommodating and very helpful. We had a wonderful vacation

So Many Comforts and, Oh, Soooo Cozy:)

My husband and I spent 3 nights in late October. Neither of us had been in the woods in autumn in over 20 years. It was the 1st cool weekend since the previous season. Songbird was such a beautiful, snuggly place. We had a fire each night, enjoyed the hot tub, and the view! The leaves and fall smells were awesome. The cabin was welcoming, comfortably luxurious, and well appointed - more than expected. Lots of little things were included and thought of, which made the stay so homey. We will will definitely try to return.

Decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean cabin

My husband and I had the opportunity to spend several days at The Songbird cabin in July. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be returning. The owners sent us detailed directions on how to find the cabin several days before our arrival date. This was so helpful as we arrived after dark. On our first night we sat on the upper screened in porch until the wee hours of the morning enjoying the fresh mountain air. The cabin was so beautiful and the views were amazing. We just wanted to relax on outdoor living space. When we pulled ourself away we visited winerys, went up to the observation tower at Brasstown and ate at several of the local restaurants. If you get the chance to go to the Smokie Moutains, I recommend staying at The Songbird cabin. It is so comfortable and relaxing. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Everything I expected and more!

This gorgeous cabin is immaculate, beautifully decorated to match the name of the cabin with songbirds everywhere, wonderfully comfortable beds, couches and everything you need to have either restful getaway or a wonderfully exciting, travel packed vacation! It was easy to find and not a difficult drive to the cabin for my small two wheel drive car! Winery's everywhere (especially liked the one that's less than 4 miles away), with small towns in all directions to antique, shop and just enjoy a more mellow way of life. We've been to the north Georgia mountains many times, but this cabin is strategically placed to reach almost everything we wanted to do and see within a short drive. The hot tub is relaxing and the available cable TV and Netfilx made it easy to enjoy our evenings with wine we'd purchased during the day. Lots of stores, restaurants and shopping in Hiawassee-I recommend The Chop House-a short drive from the cabin into Hiawassee proper. I highly recommend this cabin - the owners are among the nicest to work with and were extremely accommodating. I will definitely consider this cabin on our next trip to beautiful north Georgia!

Step right into a postcard! Absolutely magical!

This cabin is in immaculate condition. It has just about anything you could possibly want, and then some. It's cozy, it's beautiul, and the views are just breathtaking. This hidden gem is my new favorite rental for a week long gettaway in the woods. We drove all the way up from South Florida to stay here, and we were not dissapointed, in fact we were pleasantly surprised! :) The owners do a great job of communicating and getting all the paperwork and financial bizz to your email in a prompt manner. They also do a great job of maintaining the property through a cleaning facility. I absolutely loved waking up every morning and making some coffee and sitting out on the upper or lower decks and just taking in the view and listening to the birds. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and cooking on the grill. It has many closeby attractions. We enjoyed the Crisson Gold mine, Hiking at Tallullah Falls, and Brasstown Bald. The bed in the master bedroom is soooooo comfy! The fireplace is great at night, and the hot tub gets nice and hot and is kept very clean. This place is a hidden oasis in the charming town of Hiawassee, GA. We cannot wait to return! It has made a regular visitor out of us! ;)
