The Wyndham Bali Hai is located in the leading resort community of Princeville, Kauai. Princeville and the neighboring town of Hanalei offers an abundance of restaurants, beaches, galleries, boutiques and challenging golf courses all within a short drive. Spacious suites create a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can spread out and relax in style. Rest assured you'll feel right at home with many modern conveniences, including a full kitchen so you can eat in and save money on eating out. Room to roam is the hallmark of these expansive, well appointed Two-Bedroom suites that are sure to impress. The master bedroom has one king bed and the second bedroom has either one queen bed or two double beds. The condo does have a separate living room with a sofa sleeper. A balcony, washer and dryer, full kitchen, and two bathrooms are just the beginning of the home-style comforts that await your arrival. Two-Bedroom suites offer 1,149 square feet of space and can sleep up to 6 guests.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129 CHANGE FEE.

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Accommodations were comfortable, spacious and the kitchen was well appointed. The check in involved meeting with the concierge—who was really a time-share sale team masquerading as a concierge—that was a rather unappealing welcome, but the stay itself was great

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay, we were extremely comfortable in our unit. We received regular supply of towels. Unfortunately we had no wifi due storm and had to goto club house to access wifi. One room had an air conditioner unit but we did not need to use this time of year. We would definitely come back again.

Kauai vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Kauai. The condo had plenty of space for our family of 4. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived. The master bath/ shower water pressure was not good. Being close to the pool / BBQ area in the evening was annoying with all the noise. Overall we enjoyed staying our stay and would comeback. Just not by the pool.

Great location but somewhat dated unit

We’ve stayed here twice now because Princeville is a great area to be in and we have family here as well. This time around the unit we got was quite dated and run down, we paid the same amount for a much nicer unit 18 mo ago. The sofa smelled sweaty and was quite worn down and uncomfortable (wicker) to sit in and so were the 2 bar stools. The dishwasher appeared to be on its last leg but did function. The master bed was hard and the comforter was quite old and worn out. This unit definitely needs a facelift. We still had a good time as we like the property and its location.

Not as good as it seems

First the positives. The common areas, especially the pools are very nice and we used them frequently. And our kids enjoyed the chickens as we ate breakfast each morning out on the lanai. Also, when we called for housekeeping, etc. the staff was responsive. That said, someone booking this property should check carefully and potentially look around for others in the area that might be better. Check-in: We booked through VRBO for this rental. I booked the unit because the pictures showed two bedrooms, with a king and two doubles. When we got there (late and tired), we were told we had a king and queen, which wouldn't work for our party. So we then had to get that changed. The staff worked with us on that, but honestly, the attitude was that they were doing us a favor by making a change. I showed them pictures from my booking which seemed to force the change. The prior booking on Oahu was one of complete hospitality; the first impression here was not favorable. BTW, ours was not a unique experience. We met folks that also had similar issues, e.g. what they thought they booked and what they got were two different things. The Units: What you get doesn't match the pictures. The pictures shows really nice furniture, warm colors, etc. None of that was present in our unit. Again, the common areas are bright and new; the unit we had was old and dated. I think what they are doing is using the same stock photos for every unit online, but when you get there, your unit may not measure up to the pictures. The experience: - No AC. It is not clear from booking with VRBO that this complex does not have AC. If you want/need it, look elsewhere. Our first night, since the unit had been closed up...85+ degrees inside. Awful. - The buildings are laid out such that they face each other...and the sound flows from building to building very easily. Also, thin walls and ceilings. So the experience was noisy and lack of AC added to that. - We had no issue with bugs...until the staff did a preventative spray one day. Then we had bugs for the rest of the stay. - Hard sell to come to their sales presentations. They woke us up trying to sell these. We ended up unplugging the phone at night. Summary: The property is nice looking. But beneath that veneer; it doesn't measure up. I cannot recommend this property and would look elsewhere next time. I feel like a discount is warranted; I didn't get my money's worth here.

Unit #1712, a very comfortable and functional two bedroom property.

a perfect get away unit for two couples. A great functional kitchen that looks out into the cozy living room and small dining area. A cozy and sheltered outdoor patio with a table and chairs set is off the dining room and master bedroom. Both bedrooms are great, very comfortable mattresses, each bedroom have TVs. And usable Wifi. Each bathroom, one for each bedroom, is large and very functional.

This is our 3rd stay at Bali Hai resort. The unit was very comfortable and well kept and the resort had everything you could ask for. The staff were the real stars though; everyone we met were friendly and attentive.

Surpassed expectations!

This is a wonderful condo in a breathtaking location. I really had a difficult time deciding where to book a condo for our (family of 6) recent trip, but this condo in Princeville was perfect. The condo itself was clean and updated. It was well stocked with things like toilet paper, paper towel and tissue. We were within a 5 - 10 minute drive to several incredible beaches. We were a couple minutes from the lovely Princeville town center with shops and restaurants, and 10 minute drive from Hanalei. The condo was also close to our other planned activities in the area. The grounds of the condo were lovely and well maintained. The pools and amenities (DVD and board games could be checked out for free from the clubhouse, Free juices and drinks in the clubhouse, etc.)were also great. I was worried about the lack of air conditioning in August, but it was not a problem- plenty of windows to open, fans and balconies. We had a slight problem with check in, our room wasn’t ready until an hour and a half after check in time! This was tough after a long day of traveling, but the front desk let us store our groceries in their fridge and use the pool while we waited. It was worth the wait, the condo and our stay was memorable.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean comfortable condo in Princeville. This two bedroom was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and we enjoyed eating them on the lanai with the garden view. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Princeville.

Loved the pools, staff, area, everything. You can check out lots of useful things like beach gear at the concierge. Only minor downside is they clean out any food stuff left by previous tenants. Would be nice not to have to buy salt/pepper, condiments, other small stuff when cooking.

Very nice property!

The property is very well maintained. The condo was updated and had very nice furnishings. The 2 swimming pools were a little on the chilly side which was a little surprising. Normally they aren't that cold. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay for the price

I didn’t know what to expect when we got to our place in Kauai. The rate seemed too good to be true. The room was clean, spacious, well stocked and in a good location. Matt was so helpful. I would recommend this to anyone with kids or a larger party.

Fantastic Property, great for families

This was the first time we've visited Kauai and Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. He went above and beyond and answered all of our questions prior to booking his property. We are a family of 5 with grown children so our decision for booking was based on having enough space for 5 people to comfortably move around. This 2 bedroom property was perfect and met all of our needs. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the kitchen cookware and utensils as we love to cook together and the kitchen was spacious. Having 2 bedrooms and the added sofa bed made our stay very comfortable. There's plenty of parking in front of the property and just a short walk to the lobby and main pool. We were blown away by how friendly and accommodating the staff were with anything you need. The location of this property is on the north shore which is about 40 mins from the airport and approximately a hours drive to Waimea on the west coast. We did a lot of driving as the east, west and south coast of Kauai tend to be sunnier with a gentlier surf during the winter months. However, we were informed that the north shore becomes more popular during the summer as the water conditions are calmer than the south. Overall, we were extremely happy with this property and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a spacious property to rent. We will definitely book with Matt again in the future.

If you come to Kauai for a quiet get away, this is not he place. If you are ok with noise everywhere and units without any noise insulation, it is ok. It is a nice place, but it was crazy loud from morning until night.
