Beautiful views in all directions

The Upper Rooms is a self contained apartment above our garage with it's own private entrance and deck. There is a large room for the living, dining and kitchen areas. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a beautiful view of mountains and farmland. Another bedroom has a queen bed and a daybed. There is a third bedroom with a queen size bed. There is an awesome view from the dining area. Experience our beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. Sit on our deck and enjoy the views and breeze. Watch deer in our yard and nearby fields. You are welcome to use the large swing set in the yard and gather your own eggs for breakfast.

Perfect place for our holiday stay.

The kids loved gathering eggs on Sunday for our Easter breakfast. Love the openness of the main room, perfect for a big breakfast with local family. The Goods are wonderful hosts.

Refreshing and delightful--wish we could have stayed longer

The location was lovely, quiet farm community that by its atmosphere, was cause for rest and relaxation. The apartment was clean, tastefully furnished and fully supplied kitchen and laundry facilities. We would love to return another time and for a longer stay.

Paradise on the hill

Property was amazing, even better than the pictures. Amenities were plentiful. Views were awesome but what makes this place extra special are the hosts who are some of the nicest people you would ever hope to meet and would do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

What a view!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The views were gorgeous and the property was stocked with everything we could need or want! My husband enjoyed fresh eggs and has decided that we need to have chickens now. Thank you, Jay and Faye!

The property was clean and amenities were as listed. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. They have included many details like books and games to entertain guests. Our stay was relaxing. This is a great place to unplug and unwind. Fresh eggs were a bonus.

Mountain retreat

Beautiful, manicured farm land with great views. The new apartment was very clean, quiet, full of amenities and had plenty of space. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and easy to contact and respected our privacy. We also have a rental and realize the standards for a good rental...this rental meets all of them. We would gladly stay again.

Perfect!

Faye and Jay are absolutely wonderful and their property is BEAUTIFUL! Had everything we needed during our short trip. We were in town to visit relatives and have our newborn son meet his great grandparents for the first time. Coordinating dates was hard but Faye was incredibly kind and helpful when I needed to switch our trip dates. Highly recommend staying here! The kids loved the swing set and the chickens.

Good View at Good

Cant say enough GOOD things about my 5 day stay at The Goods property. Absolute perfect spot for home away from home as I strive for cleanliness and it sure is there at this property.Very nice people and I got to see the cow merry go round .nice to get back into nature for a few days also.if you have a young family ,then you owe it to your kids to see the cow farm.this is hard working America at its best.God Bless the Good’s for what they accomplish in life

No worries for anyone staying at this amazing property. Nourish your soul in its tranquil calm. Views abound! Take a walk, visit a park or just hang out, you will not be disappointed! Repeat getaway

We love coming back to this retreat away from the busy. "Farmer Jay and Faye" as my kids call them year-round are such nice hosts and supply more than enough in the apartment that you'll need for a comfortable stay. The chickens, swings, walking trails, outside + inside toys, encouraging reading content, farm visits, + beautiful views in every direction make you breathe deep and easy and reconnect with simple truths before returning to the normal busyness of life. We love this little gem we found about 5 years ago and have made it a bit of a tradition to return with my inlaws/the kids' gparents.

We have lived in the Canton area most of our lives. We love to host people in our home. We love to meet new people. We have four married children and 14 grandchildren who live close by. We are partners with our daughter and son-in-law on a large dairy farm that is just down the road from our house. We love the Lord and are active in our local community church.

Why they chose this property

We built our new home in 2013 so our daughter and family could move into the farmhouse. We love to host people so we made guest rooms. We had one large room above our garage and saw the opportunity to make it into a self contained apartment that we could rent out. We love this area and have beautiful views from all directions. We love to share this with others.

What makes this property unique

The view from all directions is the most stunning part of our property. The deck is an awesome place to sit and read and look at the farmland and mountains on all sides. We have lots of deer and wildlife. We have country roads to ride bike or walk. There are many state parks are nearby.
