Breathtaking views of the lake and wild life from the MULTILAYERED backyard, enjoy the water with lots of seating, to have meals with family and friends.

If you love waking up to the nature and enjoy a lot of outdoor or indoor activities then it’s a perfect place for you to enjoy your much needed vacation. If you are lucky you will even have deer visits, bald eagle sightings, which will thrill the children and animal lovers.

If your idea of a vacation is to relax and stay in, then enjoy the mix of modern and rustic décor, spend quality time with your loved ones, cook meals, watch TV, read or do nothing at all but enjoy your downtime at the lake steps from the water and/or the outdoor fire pit.

Enjoy the water view from the dining table. The house is located within a safe and secured gated community with its own (seasonal): community swimming pools, basketball, tennis courts, and private beaches.

If you are someone who loves to venture out into the wild, you would have plenty to enjoy as we are surrounded by state parks and game lands, where you will find numerous hiking/biking trails, sight-seeing sites, fishing. The state park is a bald eagle preserve along with many other bird types for the bird watchers. If you have a taste for antiquing, books, photography, farms, zip-lining, skydiving, paintball, ATV, horseback riding, rafting you will find everything around us.
If you are in a mood for a drive, then we have Bushkill Falls, historic Jim Thorpe and Delwater gap!!

Relaxing with beautiful view

It is a very nice property. We spent most of our time outside at the lake. Very clean and we had everything we needed. We made use of the pool, the dog park and the basketball courts. My only two issues with the house were there were no drawers to put your clothes and there wasn’t much seating in the living room. Anytime I had a question the owner responded quickly. My family really enjoyed themselves.

Beautiful Lake Front

We had a great time on the property and the backyard and lake were beautiful. The only complaint we had was the bedding. If you're picky, bring your own pillows. We had 7 people and I really wouldn't want to have had any more than that.

Great Guys Weekend Getaway!

We had a great time at the property. We spent 90% of our time outside on the back deck/patio and frequented the lake for kayaks and fishing. Plenty of parking (8 cars) and room to sleep (12 guys). Great communication from the property owner prior to and during our stay.

Short spring vacation

We stayed at this property for 5days in the end of the March . The location is excellent , right in the lake , I believe this home is excellent for summer stay , but we enjoyed it even the wether was cold . Home needs some updates , but considering that owner allowed to bring pets , I would give a 5 star . Thank you

Welcomed to a pile of trash

Would have been a good experience if the property management was better. Right next to the front porch were literally 8 bags of trash from the previous renters which was just left there open. We immediately contacted the property owner/manager but there wasn’t any action taken. We a lot and had to spend the entire time with trash left like that- stinky and bugs/insects which are expected. I wish there was an option to attach picture. Day 2 became worse because of smaller animals trying to pull food out of the trash bags. The lights which are shown in the outdoor area in pictures don’t work. We reached out again but weren’t provided any help other than letting know where switch is. Overall, I would have expected better property management for the price paid.

I must say the property was exactly what we expected with regard to the accuracy of the pictures and seeing the property in real life . Our stay was comfortable. The space was perfect for 6 although it sleeps 12. The property manager responded right away which was helpful . The views were phenomenal. Overall we enjoyed our stay . However, I will say there were a few things that needed work . One of the bedrooms upstairs light switch wasn’t functioning. We Couldn’t find a broom to sweep. We were in desperate need of a cutting board which I think it’s needed if your cooking for a big family and don’t want to cut on the granite tops. One of the chairs in the dining area was broken and the glass on the table on the deck was also broken so we were unable to use it. I think the property needs a little more TLC. Other than that we had a wonderful relaxing time . In the future I would rent the property again when the weather is warmer to take advantage and use the paddle boats to get on the lake .. thanks for your Hospitality Jago.. Wendy

Great mini lake vacation

My family and I enjoyed a great long weekend at lake Carobeth. The owner was very kind letting us see the property prior to our vacation. He was very helpful and responsive to emails and phone calls. The house was very clean and comfortable with all linens and towels provided. We enjoyed the tiered decks and fire pit for quality family time. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an easy quiet getaway.

Great weekend get away!

Clean, comfortable, lake view property. Loved the outdoor entertainment area which had multiple options for enjoying the lake. There was plenty of seating to accommodate everyone inside and out. House has an open concept and well equipped kitchen. Very "homey". Driveway accommodates multiple cars easily.

Nice, but not perfect.

The location and outdoor setup is great. It was quiet for our stay. Lake access was easy as it is right there. The house layout worked well for our group, 6 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs. The dining room chairs were broken and dangerous, we could only use 3 of them. They tried to fix them but couldn't. They said they would try to get replacements for us but never did. Not ideal for 9 people eating meals. Bring your own sheets, the sheets do not stay on the beds and the mattress had stains on it. AC was in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. 1 of them drained into a pot that needed to be emptied twice a day. I switched it to a bucket for once a day emptying. The day we left it appeared they were having central air installed. Overall it was good.

Beautiful lakeside home.

We had a really nice stay. Our kids had so much fun kayaking and boating. The ease of being right on the lake was great for the kids. The beach area was small and the pool was nice for swimming. The home owner was accommodating for letting us use the boats before official check in time. Thanks for a nice stay.
