Professionally decorated in a cozy and stylish mountain scheme gives the highest standard of pure luxury. In this beautifully decorated condo you'll find a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with granite breakfast bar, quality stainless steel appliances, a 4-burner gas cook-top stove and luxurious wood cabinetry. The large deck is perfect for evening BBQ's or watching a stunning valley sunset.

The 2 king bedrooms have luxurious en-suite bathrooms with tub and/or shower with a large jetted soaker-tub and separate shower in the master private bath. The queen bedroom also has an ensuite with private shower. The last bedroom has 2 twins with a bathroom just across the hall for convenience. All the bathrooms come complete with plush bathrobes, bath products and luxury towels. Plush European style duvets and luxury bed linens compliment this beautiful unit.

Located just 2 blocks from the Gondola, Bear Lodge is the 6th and final phase at Trappeur's Crossing Resort. Recently awarded the coveted Expedia Insiders Select Choice Award, Bear Lodge offers arguably the best accommodations available anywhere in Steamboat.

Other amenities include complimentary high-speed wireless internet, a 42 inch flat screen TV and DVD in living area as well as a stereo with I-POD dock. All bedrooms also have flat screen TVs with integrated DVD players and the condo has a sophisticated central sound system with control panels in every room to allow you to listen to your favorite music anywhere in the condo. There is also an in-condo washer and dryer, in-room safe, private ski-lockers, air-conditioning (in summer) and private heated underground parking.

As part of the Trappeur's Crossing Resort, this lodge has use of all of the Trappeur's facilities including Amenity Center with computers and internet access, fitness center, 4 pools, 10 hot tubs and a sauna.

If you don't want to walk the two blocks to the Gondola, the shuttle service will whisk you from the front door to Gondola Square. The shuttle will also take you Downtown, to the grocery stores or indeed anywhere within Steamboat City limits.

Everything we needed, good location

Great for groups of adults. Each couple can have a private bathroom. Nicely equipped kitchen and easy short walk to the base.

March 2020 Stay

Overall, we had a very nice stay at our unit in Bear Lodge. Unit was clean and welcoming upon arrival. There were a few small issues when we arrived that were quickly resolved. (An issue with garbage disposal was seemingly ignored). Unfortunately, the family staying above our unit was extremely loud and when we asked them to tone it down, we were told to F off. This is not a knock on management, just luck of the draw. The convenience of location and the shuttle service cannot be understated. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and much appreciated after our days in the slopes. The complex happy hour was well organized and plenty of fun. Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The grill worked perfectly and we took advantage of that as well. We would certainly stay here again.

Came for a family and friends trip and had a FABULOUS time!! Even with one injured person who could not ski, we found so much to enjoy in Steamboat! The winter Carnival activities (BIGGEST FIREWORK EVER!), the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, dog sledding, snowmobiling, shopping downtown... we had a great time. Thank you, Trappeur's Crossing and Bear Lodge for wonderful accommodations (with hot tubs that came in handy for sore muscles)! First Tracks at Mt. Werner was a one of a kind experience as well. Compared to our mountains back East, Steamboat BLEW OUR MINDS! Love this place and will have to come back for sure.

February 2020 Stay

We were happy with our unit. It was clean and items we were missing( enough robes/plastic cups) were quickly replaced. We did have a hard time regulating the heat and needed to leave windows ajar there keep it cool enough to sleep. The welcome happy hour was phenomenal! Lots of food and great local beers. The shuttle service was great. Very prompt, and the drivers were very personable. I do wish the hot tubs/pool were open earlier. I would have liked to soak in the hot tub with my morning coffee.
