Bear Lodge 6104 - 4 BD / 4 BA mountain styled residence at Trappeurs Crossing Resort, 2 blocks from the Mountain Village. In this beautifully decorated residence you'll find a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with granite breakfast bar, quality stainless steel appliances, a 4-burner gas cook-top stove and luxurious wood cabinetry. Great room with gas fireplace and access to the large deck, perfect for watching a stunning valley sunset.

Lovely property. I would have given 5 stars, but the queen bed was squeaky.

Ample room, well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook for 10 people. The bus picked up every few minutes for the short trip to the ski area. We used the free shuttle to go downtown for dinner one night. Living room space was ample. TV was good for watching Super Bowl & had Netflix for the kids. Ski locker was a nice surprise. Kitchen trash was removed daily by the management. There were ample towels, linens & extra blankets & pillows to accommodate everyone. Parking for 3 cars was difficult but that may have been due to the great snow conditions. Very nice property & we would rent again.

Everything we needed, good location

Great for groups of adults. Each couple can have a private bathroom. Nicely equipped kitchen and easy short walk to the base.

March 2020 Stay

Overall, we had a very nice stay at our unit in Bear Lodge. Unit was clean and welcoming upon arrival. There were a few small issues when we arrived that were quickly resolved. (An issue with garbage disposal was seemingly ignored). Unfortunately, the family staying above our unit was extremely loud and when we asked them to tone it down, we were told to F off. This is not a knock on management, just luck of the draw. The convenience of location and the shuttle service cannot be understated. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and much appreciated after our days in the slopes. The complex happy hour was well organized and plenty of fun. Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The grill worked perfectly and we took advantage of that as well. We would certainly stay here again.

February 2020 Stay

We were happy with our unit. It was clean and items we were missing( enough robes/plastic cups) were quickly replaced. We did have a hard time regulating the heat and needed to leave windows ajar there keep it cool enough to sleep. The welcome happy hour was phenomenal! Lots of food and great local beers. The shuttle service was great. Very prompt, and the drivers were very personable. I do wish the hot tubs/pool were open earlier. I would have liked to soak in the hot tub with my morning coffee.

February 2020 Stay

Came for a family and friends trip and had a FABULOUS time!! Even with one injured person who could not ski, we found so much to enjoy in Steamboat! The winter Carnival activities (BIGGEST FIREWORK EVER!), the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, dog sledding, snowmobiling, shopping downtown... we had a great time. Thank you, Trappeur's Crossing and Bear Lodge for wonderful accommodations (with hot tubs that came in handy for sore muscles)! First Tracks at Mt. Werner was a one of a kind experience as well. Compared to our mountains back East, Steamboat BLEW OUR MINDS! Love this place and will have to come back for sure.

Great week in Steamboat

We had a great stay at Bear Lodge. The condo was clean and spacious. We loved the convenience of the shuttle to get to the mountain base but also liked that we could walk there in only 5 to 10 minutes. The kids (and mom and dad) loved the heated pool and hot tub. And we could walk to the Wild plum grocery store in only a few minutes. It was great that somebody came to collect our garbage and recyclibles every single day. We would definitely stay there again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we had an issue trying to find a parking spot but that was only on our first night and we had no problems the rest of the week. Also, while it is a first floor condo, it does require using steps or an elevator to get from the underground parking to the unit.

Best vacation!!

We are so happy we ended up choosing this Bear Lodge unit and Simply Steamboat. Everyone were so great and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!
