About this property

Studio condo for rent in beautiful Old Orchard Beach , Maine. This unit is just across the street from the ocean and approximately 1/2 mile from the popular Pier and amusement rides on Old Orchard street. It is just a short drive to amusement parks, water parks and movie theater. It includes a queen size bed, sofa, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster. (nobody wants to cook on vacation, so there's no stove. With so many delicious food choices near by, you wont miss it)I have added a BBQ grill in the back yard for your use. Enjoy your morning coffee or meals Al Fresco on our outside bistro set. You have front row seating for the best people watching on East Grand Ave. You also have use of the shared fenced in back yard with large picnic table.
This room would most comfortably accommodate 2 adults to enjoy a fun beach vacation or romantic getaway. A small child could sleep on the sofa. There is room on the floor that could accommodate a single sized air mattress if you wanted to bring one. (not included with the room).There is one parking space for your use at no additional charge. The unit is located on the ground floor of the building, so you have easy access for carrying in luggage with no stairs to contend with. There is one step up into the bathroom, otherwise the unit is flat to navigate. Dishes, cups and utensils are included in the kitchenette. Blankets are washed between guests and will be provided for your use. Renters are asked to bring their own toiletries. Sheets and Two large bath towels will be provided for your use.
It is about 30 minutes by car to Portland for you to experience the many restaurants, culture and the mall. More conveniently, you can quickly walk to the Amtrak station where the Downeaster stops regularly from mid May- September. Enjoy the train and head to Portland, Freeport, or Boston without worrying about driving or parking your car.
Summer Rental times are Check in via Lock Box Saturday after 3pm, check out the following Saturday by 10am. (times may be flexible at owner discretion) Flexible check in dates are available after September.

Beachfront Off Season

The unit is essentially one room with a small bathroom attached. It was all neat and tidy. Very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. There was internet service. No place to cook. Did have a microwave and refrigerator. Small sink but no counter space. The owner was good with communication.

Not maintained very well. The Bathroom sink did not drain. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. There were flys in the unit.

Good for the two of us

It was a clean place to stay and close to places we want to see. We stayed Oct. 16 to 20 and there were no restaurants open in the area that we could walk too. The only other thing we would have liked is for the place to be a little better stocked. Like more towels, Kleenex’s ext. We loved our stay and Lori was great to work with. Very responsive when we had questions.

Hi! I'm Lori. I fell in love with this condo when i saw it. OOB is such a quaint, fun, family summer destination. This condo is close to all of it. I have a lot of favorites to visit when I'm there (Ken's seafood, Ocean Park Cinnamon buns, Fielders Choice ice cream!) What are your favorites??

Why they chose this property

I didn't want a big place that would be a burden to clean, especially when I'm on vacation. I wanted to be close to the fun. This condo was PERFECT!!

What makes this property unique

It is so close to the ocean!!
My favorite time of day to be at the beach is around 6pm after the crowd leaves, its so peaceful. I also like coming off season the find the best treasures. We collected nice sand dollars and drift wood to make a beachy wreath. There are fire works every Thursday and all you have to do to see them is walk across the street. No traffic, no crowds!
