About this property

Canal w/ dock space. Walk to beach.

Make yourself at home at this family town home that sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and water views! The boat dock right out the back door will accommodate your boat (up to 25 feet), or a boat you rent for the day. (Please note that the boat slip in the pictures is home to the family pontoon boat. You will use the dock space next to it on the canal.) Or, bring your stand up paddle board or kayak, or rent one nearby, and peruse the canals and harbor. Maybe you'll see a dolphin!

You won't have to worry about noisy upstairs neighbors at this two-story home. The main floor hosts the living room, half bathroom, dining area (table plus breakfast bar) and kitchen where you and your family can prepare for your day at the beach. Enjoy eating on the back patio or enjoy a refreshing drink at the end of the day while watching boats cruise by on the canal. On the second floor, you'll find the master bedroom which hosts a king-size bed and an attached full bathroom, and the second bedroom which houses a queen bed and an attached full bathroom. A full-size sleeper sofa in the main-floor living room can sleep 2 guests. The driveway has plenty of room for several vehicles.

The town home is conveniently located! Enjoy a 1/2 mile walk to public beach access (with parking) or a 2/3 mile walk to beautiful white sand beaches with private access. Catch the Destin Water Taxi (March-Oct) right from the back dock to local shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Major grocery retailers and Target are located within an easy drive or bike ride at less than 2 miles away. Bring your clubs and check out one of the many golf courses in Destin and the surrounding areas. Visiting family in the military? Hurlburt Field Air Force Base is 15 miles away and Eglin Air Force Base is 20 miles away.

Small dogs are welcome with home owner approval and a non-refundable $75 pet fee per stay. Renters are welcome to contact the Home Owners Association for a special boat trailer and recreational vehicles permit which are available on a limited basis per year. (they otherwise are not have a list of offsite trailer parking sites.).

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pots and pans could be replaced and the kitchen needs wine glasses. The property was very clean and quiet.

Boat dock love

Perfect location and dock for our boat. Condo was great and had everything we needed. Only thing I think it needs is some better out door lighting. Something to make it more inviting to sit outside at night and be able to keep a eye on your boat. Other than that it was great and Charlie was a excellent host!

Comfortable, dog friendly waterfront townhome

This is a comfortable, well equipped townhome on the canal. Great location. Close to stores and lots of restaurants on 98, but in a very quiet neighborhood. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach. The water is absolutely crystal clear, fine white sand and not crowded. You can also take a water taxi from your dock to any of the Destin boardwalk restaurants for $5. Yummy, fresh seafood! Fun and relaxing to sit on the dock and watch boats go by. The owner, Charlie, is very responsive, and we didn't have any problems.

Great and quiet place.

We had a hard time finding a place to stay long term that allowed pets. This condo is great, it has everything you need plus extras that just make the stay better. The water front is nice to go out and look in the morning and at night. I have enjoyed the entire trip so far. We even renewed our stay and extended it out two more weeks. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for an affordable place that has everything you need during your stay.

We are a dad and his three grown daughters who have purchased this home because of the significance it has for our family and the special place it holds in all of our hearts. We hope you will come to love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Destin, and Holiday Isle specifically, has been the location of our family vacation home for 35 years. We had a unique opportunity to purchase this home, already set up for renting, in the same small town home complex we have been coming to our whole lives (for the daughters, anyway).

What makes this property unique

We love that there is easy access to the canal, to the wave beach, and the beach by the jetty, all very different Destin water experiences. Waking up to the water view off the master bedroom balcony in a place that feels like home is unbeatable and provides a very different experience than you could possibly have at a condo/resort.
