The Turtle House is located in the beautiful foothills of the Sandia Mountains. It is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, single-story, 1250 sq ft home. The relaxing outdoor space is a private retreat following a busy day of sight-seeing, hiking, or visiting art galleries in the area. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Whether your choice is to relax and enjoy a movie, sit by the kiva fireplace, or prepare a homemade dinner, the Turtle House has all of the comforts of home. We have taken great measures to make sure you are comfortable! The beds are equipped with top-quality bedding for a great night's rest so you can wake up ready to enjoy all the wonderful sights, sounds, and smells the Land of Enchantment has to offer. The Turtle House is conveniently located near many great hiking and mountain biking trails. It is also less than 15 minutes from Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, Sandia Resort and Casino, great golf courses, plus lots more! Quiet comfortable house in a great location. The yard is beautiful and can be enjoyed even during cold weather by looking through the large windows/doors. I’d definitely book again.

I stayed at this property with my two adult kids for four days and three nights. From the street, this property looked well maintained and fit in with the rest of the neighborhood. Once inside the courtyard and home it felt like a refuge! In the home, we found all the modern amenities you would expect. The bedrooms were all nicely designed and had comfortable beds. Bathrooms were modern and up-to-date. Kitchen is a tiny bit small but I wasn't planning on preparing any huge meals so it worked well for us. Dining and living rooms were nicely designed.In the mornings, I sat outside to drink my coffee and enjoy the sound of the birds. I'm not sure if it would be a courtyard or a backyard but whatever the case, it was spacious and private and nicely landscaped.One note: don't do what I did and set the house alarm. It's too easy to set (no code) but impossible to disarm (code required). Thanks for saving me Eloy!I will absolutely book another stay here in the future.

Great home in a nice area!

We had a great experience staying here! Eloy made the check-in process extremely easy for us, the house is very nice, beautiful yard where you can relax, nice/safe area of town, and close to a lot of hikes! I would highly recommend staying at this home.

Turtle house is a slam dunk for our next stay in Albuquerque!

Six family members visited Albuquerque for a family reunion and stayed several days very comfortably at Turtlehouse. We found it clean, full of amenities, a convenient/safe location and has a responsive manager.

Great house and location

So glad we stayed at Turtle house during the ballon fiesta and eclipse. Kitchen is well appointed, clean rooms, and nice garage if you have a rental car. Would highly recommend as the property management was very accommodating with our family!

Cute house with great backyard

The house was perfect for our stay in Albuquerque while we went on several winter birding excursions. The location was convenient to many hiking trails. We loved the backyard landscaping and the house was outfitted with everything we needed.

Great place

This was a great little house! The ability to use the garage made it feel like home (and kept the car cool!). The location is perfect, very close to trails and the Sandia peak while also being near enough to shopping that nothing felt inconvenient. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Albuquerque!
