House A - You're in the tropics... listen to the waves, rest, relax or fish, kayak and snorkel, if you wish to lose a few pounds. Three bedroom, two bath home, with direct ocean access, boat parking at the back door. Sunrise view, ocean breezes. Fully furnished, linens, cable/internet. This home is on a compound, we also have several one bedroom units as well as 2 bedroom. The perfect spot for weddings, reunions, or large groups! Broil Restaurant is just across the street, Square Grouper restaurant and bar in the is down the street. Shuttle to Key West just steps from the home. Come and stay with us, you're sure to have a wonderful vacation.

Cute place- checked off all our needs

Good place. 3 bed rooms all with Queen size beds. It was perfect for us. We sat on the porch mostly when we were there and played games. Not a long ride to Key West. Overall- we were happy and would stay there again.

house nice, roomy and comfortable. Beach area very pretty but needs to be cleaned up a little. We enjoyed the pool, floats provided. Kayaks provided were hard to find, wish there had been a few more. Would definitely stay here again. Like the area and Cudjoe Key too.

Great Location!

The house was just somewhere for us to congregate and lay our head at night. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Location is fabulous. Spent a lot of time at Bahia Honda, little duck had a beautiful little private beach and of course the infamous Key West. Spent half a day at the pool, but other than that we did not use much of what the property offered such as the grill, the docks, etc. Kitchen is extremely limited on supplies for cooking. So try and keep it simple. Comfortable stay.

Quaint and quiet

The cottage was a little dated but, cute. The deck needs a little TLC. The process of checking in and out was simple. The owner of the property was prompt when messaged. Yes, there are tiny ants. They did not appear until we had spilled something sweet. The solution is to put any of your perishables in the refrigerator or microwave. This is Florida. The pictures posted on the site are accurate. It was worth it and we would come back. Thanks

Worn out Electric receptical cover missing in dining room. Locked out of bedroom. Manager said to use credit card to get door open. Wallpaper peeling Deck table had only one chair Charcoal grill substandard. Signage to get into property substandard. Debris and trash in parking area. Sliding door lock did not work. Needed to use a 2x4. Gaps in front door. Could see daylight Ants each day in kitchen.

Key west getaway

This is the first time vrbo has steered me wrong. The property manager was wonderful and quick to respond.. the location was perfect to key west but we had no boat parking available... you could use the marina but we rented that property strictly for the boat. The biggest issue is the condition of the house. That goes on the owner. Severly outdated and no maintenance makes for a very undesirable unit. Calling someone could not fix years of disrepair so it wasn't worth the call. The cleaner did what they could but you can't clean the issues this place has. It needs major renovation and will not be a return visit for us

Perfect location & nice property

My husband and I stayed on the property in a one bedroom cottage last year and loved it. We decided to come again to celebrate our son's graduation and brought some friends along. First, let me say this... if you are looking for the accommodations at the Hilton, go stay at the Hilton. The home is older and therefore needs some love and attention, but it was perfect for us. The home was clean upon arrival. We were early and Santa ( I believe was his name) was just finishing up and let us come right in. House was clean and stocked with the initial necessities (dish soap, TP, paper towels, etc), the bedrooms were well decorated and beds were comfy (our happened to dip into the middle but still ok), living room/dining area met our needs just fine. Yes, the master bath (shower specifically) needs some work, but it did its job and the hall bath was just fine. We had access to the grill, which the guys loved. We found the marina (Cudjoe Gardens Marina) down the road and it became our go to each day we went on the water. The property is spacious and we had no trouble with parking. The pool was entertaining with the iguana's and refreshing after a long day on the water. We have shared the information with several other friends, and we will be back. Our host was gracious and offered to bring us a blender when the one at the house didn't work, but we planned ahead and had one of our own. Still, she was responsive and super accommodating. Already looking forward to our next trip and adventure in the KEYS.

Property was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for our visit and the host gave hreat instructions on locating our unit. Its not a 5 star hotel- if thats what you want, this isnt the place. But if you want a clean, comfortable, affordavlble and convenient location. This is it. Cant wait to come back next year. Thank you!

Comfortable beds , great location , but Properly needs attention

We recently stayed at this rental and, while the location was ideal and the beds were very comfortable, the property overall was poorly maintained.There was a visible gap under the front door, which let in drafts and made us feel uneasy due to the minimal locks and general lack of security. In the bathroom, we had to manually turn on the water valve under the sink just to get cold water — something that should have been addressed before any guests arrived.Both the indoor and outdoor furniture were old and dirty, and the air conditioning return grate was rusted and covered in dust, giving the whole place a neglected feel.This rental has potential with its great location and good mattresses, but until it receives some basic maintenance and cleaning, I can’t recommend it.

Great place to get away. House and property were nice. If your bring a boat, you have to watch the tides. Flats or a smaller bay boat will be fine. Had a 21 foot center console. Low tide you just have to take it slow out to the channel. Great options for docking your boat. A lot of space for boat trailers. Location of property is nicely situated.

A little run down. Needs work. Railings loose, torn screen. Furniture shabby, bathroom fans not working ,ice maker doesn’t work, enjoyed the pool . A/C was very loud .

Cudjoe Key is a great place that is centrally located to all attractions north and south. The location of this property is ideal in our bookThe property itself is in need of a great deal of maintenance and upgrades, but the beds are clean, and the water is hot.It was adequate for our boy's trip but likely would not rent again.As always: be sure to ask for all house/rental rules before booking.

Great location

The house was old and in need of some up dates. The furniture was in poor condition, the mattress needs to be replaced in all bedrooms. The patio was a mess but with that said the price we paid for that location was great. With all the homes we’ve rented this was in the worst condition but we made it work.

Needs a little TLC

Nice, comfortable house that needs a little TLC to be a great vacation spot. Exhaust fans didn't work in either bathroom, ceiling fan in bedroom closest to kitchen is unbalanced and very noisy at any speed. Tub faucet in hall bathroom dripped constantly. Gas grill was totally rusted out and missing controls. On the plus side, all beds were good, comfortable living room furniture with plenty of room to spread out. Great parking for our truck and trailer next to the house.

Needs updating and repairs

The house was clean on the inside, but no dressers to unpack your clothes. Closet doors were off in one bedroom and no hangers available. Ice maker didn’t work and freezer was leaking. Frig with broken shelf guards in door. Not enough large utensils for cooking. Outside deck furniture was a joke. Only 3 plastic chairs, one broken. Owner replaced with 2 large wicker chairs. Grill was unusable. I could go on with lack of pool furniture and railings. Basically paid for a house that wasn’t worth the price.

Great location on the keys

Definitely need to update the property. Day to day cleanliness was good but many burnt out light bulbs or mismatched bulbs. A coat of paint and updated furniture would help. House A has no view of the water and may have chosen a different place in the complex if i had known. Pool was well taken care of and lots of privacy by the home. Convenient to Key west and lots of good local restaurant choices. Beds were very comfortable.

Winter getaway

Property was exaxtly as described. Could use some updating, but everything was clean and functioning. The house was plenty spacious, but we did spend most of out time on the deck. Wouod stay again!

Great Location

My family of 5 stayed at this place for 3 nights. It is very convenient to Key West and Big Pine Key for the activities we participated in. Easy check-in and great communication with owner. The only issue was the house we stayed in could use a little updating--one example was the peeling wallpaper and old-looking/poorly cut moulding in places. That said, we would definitely stay there again. It was a good place for the whole family.
