Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #67-

Upon walking into this one bedroom plus loft you will immediately feel at home. Under your feet is a newly slate tiled floor which extends into the kitchen and is in each of the 2 bathrooms. After a day of play, enjoy the fine artwork that is scattered about this unit as you relax to watch a movie on the TV with DVD/VCR or listen to your favorite tune on the CD player. This unit is on the third floor from the garage. This unit is a stone throw away from the outdoor pool, main sauna, and barbecue area and is within walking distance to Canyon Lodge for skiing, mountain biking, or hiking.

Maximum Occupancy: Accommodates up to 6 guests.

Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a King bed, it's own TV, and an adjoining master bathroom. The Loft has a queen bed plus a set of bunk beds. The couch is a sofa sleeper. This condo is on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators.

Unit Amenities: The full sized kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishware, and cooking materials! For those cold winter nights, get cozy next to the propane fireplace which has a beautiful wood mantle and fine hearthstone.

On Site Amenities: Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located in each unit building. MSRC provides a heated pool during the summer and indoor jacuzzi all year. Located in the pool area are BBQ grills. There is also a recreation/game room complete with a pool table, soda machine, and TV!

Views: With it's many windows this is a very bright unit with a view of the the Mammoth Valley.

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.
Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Great spot for a family of five

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views from this unit. I have stayed at the Ski and racquet club for 10 years straight and this was one of the more comfortable units. The upstairs bunkbed definitely needs to be upgraded, otherwise the beds were comfortable.

Great View, but beat needs some help

Nice view but some of the furniture is beat up. Had to fix stove myself since only 1 burner worked. Coffee table had been repaired many times and was falling apart again, same with living room chair. Couches not comfortable. Holes in wall with cracked cover plates and wires running all over in living room. Poor lighting.Not worth the money, well beyond the time to update. Don't recommend, especially for the price.

Would stay again!

Place is probably worth 3.5 starts, and it is a good value. 3 star ratings aren't bad. For me it means I would stay here again without concern, but I would also keep my options open. I would stay here with a family or as a guys trip, but not multiple couples because of bathroom layout (2 full baths, but one is downstairs). Good: View, kitchen, bedrooms, towels, kitchen utensils, easy access to pool/spa through back of building Fair/Avg: location, parking, furniture, bathrooms Poor: communicating with mgmt, no balcony furniture The view is just phenomenal. Woke up in the master every morning to a sunrise. This location is about a mile (not quite) from the village/gondola, and maybe half a mile from the nearest chair lift. The location is up a huge hill, even in tennis shoes it isn't an easy walk. Parking was fine for me in the summer, but during peak season I could see it being a bit of a challenge. From the parking, there are a couple of interior flights of stairs to climb to access the unit. *I seem to be making a lot of notes about hiking up hills/stairs, but its worth noting. I am an active person.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view from the condo was beautiful. However, there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms and they would not give us any when we requested it. There weren't any towels for the hot tub. The remote control for the TV did not work to access Netflix even though it was a smart TV. We have stayed in many properties in Mammoth and were disappointed by the lack of amenities.

Not worth the money

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the property is very convenient to canyon lodge, it needs a LOT of improvement and TLC! It’s maddening that properties in this type of condition can still get away with charging about $1K per night with fees etc. This property is extremely outdated with broken furniture (stool for a coffee table, chairs, etc.) and uncomfortable beds. We were expecting a little nicer paying that much money. We will not be coming back!

The only negative would be the dirty dishes. I washed a good 75-80% of them before using them. Everything else was clean and no complaints. Coffee table and ottoman was old and on edge of being broken. Overall wonderful stay and we look forward to returning.

Nice place but it's really hot!

I am not sure if it was caused by the temperature set-up before we checked-in, but even after we lowered the temperature, the unit seems to retain the heat.

Beautiful view

Balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. A little older furniture and we had to turn the heat at max for it to really. Overalls great location and cute condo. Would recommend staying here.

Nice place would stay again

Great location. have been going to ski and racquet club for years, clean place awesome view check in when easy and stay was great. would stay there again. only downside is it's on the third floor, but it gives one of the best views i've seen in mammoth.

Nice spacious place, but could use a little work. Oven was smokey which could be easily fixed but I believe it made house smell like someone smoked in it. Plenty of sleeping space - enough for 8. Bedding needs to be replaced especially on pull out. Everything else very nice. Nice community spa and even a baby bear that makes an appearance at sundown.

Amazing view, very cozy living querters, ski in, but not ski out

The views from the balcony and master bedroom are amazing. Early in the morning you wake up to a gorgeous sunrise that you can view from the bedroom window. At night you fall asleep with a view of the moonlit mountains and the stars above. Nice balcony. The unit living area is very cozy with gas fireplace. Location is ski in from the village ski back trail, but there are no signs and you need to find your way using GPS /Google maps. Getting to the slopes however is a bit harder than anticipated, you have a 7-8 minute walk to the bus stop, then one stop and you are at canyon. It take about 20 minutes total to get to the lift if you have ski gear with you. There is no ski storage downstairs, we kept the skis in the car. The kitchen was decently equipped but most of the pans were badly scratched - we bought a cast iron skillet to do most of our cooking in. There weren't any proper baking pans or larger glass oven safe cookware. Some baking sheets were present but they don't work well for baking meats. All else was good as far as silverware, cups plates. Plan to bring additional condiments - sugar, salt, cooking oils etc if you plan to prepare your own food. No grills on property. We found the beds to be very firm and woke up stiff every morning. Overall, the unit is very good, a few minor small changes would make it top notch.

Nice condo within walking distance of Canyon Lodge!

Had a wonderful stay with my wife and her family. Key pickup was easy and condo was situated in a great spot. Clean, well kept, and inviting. Great view out onto the Valley. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice and cozy but a bit dated

Pros: clean, cozy, comfort for the most part. Cons: three flights of stairs (no elevator), bunk beds make a lot of noise if you slightly move around on them. For our stay I believe the stove wasn't cleaned well so when we used it there was a bad burning smell at the beginning. Overall, this place is fine. I took off one star because of the noisy bunk bed.

Great, cozy little condo!

The space was great for our group of 7! Enjoyed the location, walking distance or shuttle to Canyon Lodge. Comfortable for all of us, although the pullout couch was a little awkward, everything was pretty great. Nice little kitchen, lots of space at the table, cozy living room, clean bathrooms stocked with basic toiletries. Not far from the jacuzzi and pool tables. Wonderful view from the balcony! Would stay here again.

I would have loved it but the beds were very uncomfortable. All of them. It does need some updating

The unit was in good shape out side of the beds and tvs and the heated water situation. Our friends had the unit next door and theirs was very nice in comparison. The location was very good for skiing. Over all it was a nice stay but after skiing all day you would like to sleep well in a bed that didn't have bumps in it.
