Prue's Cottage is centrally located to everything that Port Fairy has to offer. Leave the car and stroll to town, Pea Soup cove or any of Port Fairy's many eateries.

This well appointed historic cottage offers tranquil ambiance with modern conveniences. It is well suited for the perfect family getaway. Prue's Cottage is centrally located to everything that Port Fairy has to offer. Leave the car and plan your route; stroll a short distance to town, walk through the Reserve to Pea Soup cove or head to the popular East Beach via the river walk in just 10 minutes. Enjoy Port Fairy's many eateries and boutique shopping.

Prue's Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests; one king room, one queen and a third room with a double bed. It is a lovely, spacious cottage with two living areas, one at either end of the house. The main living area has an open plan kitchen lounge/dining area and a large enclosed lawned area. The lounge also features a wood fire for those cosy evenings in, now with free unlimited WiFi and Smart TV.

There is rear access to the property.

Just a short stroll away is Pea Soup, which is perfect for children with its shallow water, wonderful sands and rock pools.

The area offers a wide variety of scenery and attractions, with opportunities for coastal and inland walking, bird watching, fishing, canoeing, horse-riding, boat trips to name but a few. In short, there is something for everyone all year round to enjoy in historic Port Fairy.

Please note the house only supplies a starter bag of wood for the fire, bags of wood can be purchased from the BP Service Station or on Griffiths Street.

Lovely cottage in great location

Lovely heritage cottage in a great location walk to shops and beach. Loved the wood fire and well stocked kitchen - only downside was no dishwasher. Great outdoor area to eat or sit in the sun and plenty of grass area for our pooch. We loved our stay.

Charming original cottage in Port Fairy

We were charmed by the original cottage and enjoyed the location close to all amenities, particularly the local heated pool which was ideal for the children. Bike riding and lovely walks, great coffee and excellent supermarket. We will return!

Wonderful stay.

This cottage is wonderful and fulfilled our expectations. Everything necessary in the kitchen was supplied ~ we made dinner twice without having to hunt around for utensils, pots etc. Bedrooms are lovely ~ comfortable beds dressed in quality linen. Couches ideal for lounging about in and we appreciated having Netflix and Wifi. So, a lovely, characterful cottage in gorgeous Port Fairy ~ highly recommended! PS ~ Raddy, the Aussie Shepherd, agrees and wouldn't mind staying there again. Many thanks.

Quiet break away

A delightful cottage, clean, spacious, lots of light and comfortable. Prue's Cottage was everything we required and more. Very close to the centre of Port Fairy and an easy walk to the wharf area and walks to Pea Soup bay etc. We travel with a well behaved Border Collie and were pleased a fully enclosed backyard meant we were able to let him outside unsupervised. The lovely Roz at Langley's Booking Service was a pleasure to deal with and made everything from booking, arrival and departure so easy. Can highly recommend this property.

Perfect winter getaway

This cottage had everything we needed, cut firewood for the solid fuel heater, was cosy and warm, very comfortable stay for us all. Cottage was in terrific location being short walk to shops & cafes and to the lovely Pea Soup beach. Communication with accommodation owners was straightforward and they were very helpful.

If you like quirky,cottage,cosy feel then this is the cottage for you. Perfect location 5 min walk to beach(dog beach) and 5min walk to shops, pubs,restaurants. The cottage was very clean and very well fitted out with everything you need. We will be staying here again.

Well located property

We enjoyed our stay at Prues cottage as did our 2 small dogs. Cottage is close to shops and restaurants and easy walking distance to the only all day dog beach in town. Bed was very comfortable and the "older" period section of the cottage was well fitted out with a sitting area and 2 other queen beds. More modern back area was a little tired but well fitted out, clean and comfortable. Good sized yard out back. We will stay here again.
