Hosts were amazing. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Clean, comfortable and cozy. The garden setting was peaceful and calming - we enjoyed the quiet.
Very impressed with presentation and facilities provided, nice and quiet location with great outlook over farmland, close enough to the rowing to allow us to come and go.
The house was basic, but had all the facilities required, with an extensive DVD collection. The location was great, screened from the road, but right at the beach.
All we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay. Lovely hosts who made us very welcome. Daughter and son-in-law joined us as a surprise for my husband's birthday. All went very well, and we had a lovely stay.
We had a wonderful time, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings and the bounty from the vegetable garden. Mary, Rosemary and Steve were all very helpful and informative. The outside but under cover cooking/dining area worked really well for the two couples in our group.
What a wonderful escape. The hosts could not have been more welcoming. The outdoor kitchen was perfect even when it was raining. Felt like a home away from home, and was very conveniently located to Lake Kirapiro where we had a festival, and close to Cambridge and Hamilton. If you need a relaxing vacation from your vacation this is the place!
The cottage has a beautiful setting and cute features. For a family of 3 it is just enough (double bed a bit tight for 2 adults) space for sleeping (#2). You can spread out in the shared kitchen in the evenings. Thank you to the 2 Mary's.
Lovely garden and property, friendly owners. Handy to Maungatatari. Downside was no space to eat inside the units or for sitting. Shared kitchen is fine except that it is cold in the evening so not conducive to having a meal in this space. Also limited space for luggage but fine for short stay.
Propriétaire très avenante et sympathique.
De nombreuses difficultés avec Abritel lors de la réservation.
De fausses info. Réservation avec ce site à fuir
Perfect location near cycle trails, We even biked to Hamilton Gardens! Maungatautari Sanctuary was close by .
Mary and her Mum Rosemary ,were just such amazingly friendly hosts, we felt very welcome .The Cottage was just lovely, very comfortable and super shower.
The garden is beautiful and view over the country side. The rural sounds and vistas are superb, a Ruru close by, was heard on several nights.
Rosemary provided lovely breakfast with produce from her garden.
Mary was great to chat with about the farm , her enthusiasm for her volunteer work on Maungatautari Mountain with trapping and the Kiwi breeding programme had us super interested. We were so pleased she shared this with us and we loved our walk on the Rimu track.
Thank you both for a wonderful stay.
You roadside plantings of cherry trees is amazing and a legacy for years to come.
