Simple Amazing

Exactly as described. Owners were wonderful. Cambridge is such a beautiful area centrally located to many of the sites we were visiting. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Property

The cottage is wonderful with a beautiful setting and view. The cottage is private and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for great dinners on the deck. Great location with a short drive to many great destinations in the area. We will try to stay again!

Was in the area for a rowing regatta and the location was brilliant. Cottage had everything we needed and was well set up (although, given it poured with rain, a dryer would have been handy for all the rowing gear each night!). Appreciated that it had basic things like spreads and oil, and beautiful home made jams. Would definitely stay again.

Incredible property with great views

Pincots cottage was simply incredible. The views were amazing, the property was beautiful and very clean and Sue was a lovely host, giving us complimentary jam and milk from her farm. Her dog is also very friendly and may pay you a surprise visit! Highly recommend.

Brilliant stay at Karapiro

Sue (our lovely host), was really welcoming and her crystal clear communication meant we knew where to locate the cottage and what to expect. We arrived to a very nice welcome note with a gift of two jars of preserves (chutney and apricot jam), a totally unexpected bonus! Tremendous location for all of the Waikato, less than 10 mins from wonderful Cambridge. Cottage is set in countryside and is a cosy, well appointed and fun place to stay. Would definitely visit again.

Wedding day preparation.

Absolutely loved staying in this gorgeous cottage. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and beautiful spot for this country girl and her wedding party to get ready in for my big day. So much space, so much beauty and character and so lovely and clean. Loved it!! Want to go back just to hang there and enjoy that space alol over again.

We loved our stay at Pincots. The house is beautiful and well stocked. Very comfortable beds and beautiful view. A great place to just relax. While a bit in the country it is only 10 minutes away from the town of Cambridge with all you need including nice restaurants. Sue was wonderful and stayed in touch to make sure all was fine. I would definitely go back here and probably spend more time to visit central north island sites. Lived having April drop by for little visited as well.

Wonderful place to unwind.

The place is large enough to accommodate our entire family of 6, but my wife and I still found it perfect for just the two of us. New Zealand rentals are just different. They have accommodations for everything. We could have cooked a gourmet meal with everything that was equipped in the kitchen. Had we planned better, we would have taken advantage of the kitchen. The Cambridge restaurant scene is good, but we didn’t want to leave the place once we dropped our bags. This is a gem for sure. The atmosphere is tranquil. The deck is surrounded by nature and has privacy. It’s a great spot to home base for your hobbiton and waitomo cave tours. Highly highly recommend.

Just what we wanted

We needed a meeting point and place for stay in, for a group of reuniting friends going to an event at Hobbiton. Pincotts Cottage was just perfect. The family with us (2 adults 2 children) was able to be slightly set apart at one side of the cottage with their own bathroom, and the two couples had lovely rooms and a shared bathroom at the other side. In the middle was a comfy sitting room, dining room and well-stocked kitchen. The house was close to Hobbiton, while also being convenient to Cambridge for shops and meals. The cottage is tucked away, but there are multiple signs to the cottage throughout the driveway. Even arriving in the dark we found it easily. Communications with Sue were easy and prompt, and she was a very generous host in various ways. It was just what we needed.

Pincots Cottage stay

Lovely spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were there to visit Hobbiton and the glo caves. It was centrally located. We slept well and would stay again in the future.

Everything you need, quiet and comfort

Slice of Paradise!

This home is located in such a dreamy location - my absolute favorite part of New Zealand, actually! The house was well stocked and the rooms were set up perfectly for our group. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The common areas were comfortable and cozy. And the view - so fantastic and my daughters and I were able to frolic barefoot in the front grass. Sue was very sweet, as well, and if we ever can make it back, we will! Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Having recently retired from dairy farming, my husband and I have settled on a small lifestyle block nestled in Karipiro. We raise a number of cattle, have some chickens and a small dog called April.

Why they chose this property

• A ranch sliding door opens out to a larger decked area, outdoor table and chairs with unobtrusive view of Mount Maungatautari.
• The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal.
• Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cooking oil, salt and pepper supplied.
• The electric heat pump/air conditioner will keep you toasty warm in winter, and cool and comfortable in summer.
• The bedrooms allow for privacy and space. The large wardrobes are perfect for storing your gear.
• Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels provided.
• There is a washing machine and laundry powder.
• Unlimited wifi available.

Please note there are three bedrooms available with different bedding configurations, upon a booking request please specify the bedding arrangement you require.
Bedroom One has a king bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Two has a super king bed which can be configured into two king singles (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Three has a king bed and double bunk bed with a single bunk bed on top. This room also has an ensuite. (sleeps 5)
Bedrooms will be accessible depending on the numbers in your party.
