The Miners cottage is a step back in time to a more gentle era. The views from the rear verandah are just the thing to make ones stress and worry melt away with possibly a nice glass of your favourite beverage. The cosy atmosphere with a fire burning in the old fireplace on a winters evening is an experience on its own. The cottage has lots of old world charm with antique fittings and chattels, right down to the old bone handled cutlery and willow plates. Should one need to relax whilst indoors the generous two person spa is the perfect solution and can be accompanied with mood music on the bathroom stereo set. All you need to enjoy this lovely cottage is a desire to relax and unwind in a very quiet and serene country environment.

Such peace and serenity..Time to just relax...Morning and afternoon verandahs..For moments of quiet contemplationGreat space for the dog to exploreFacilites were perfect...
Very relaxing and comfortable cottage. Great authentic period fit out with lots of interesting early 20th century/colonial fittings. Linda was a great host. Communication with her was easy. There are a lot of walks in the area. Our 2 energetic dogs in particular enjoyed a creek in Yackandandah.
Cute reproduction hut built with actual salvaged historic wood, filled with genuine antique pieces and memorabilia that was a pleasure to discover. All modern conveniences with a twist. All in lovely rural setting.
Loved this little cottage. Absolutely everything was provided.
Our little Border Collie found her farm instincts and loved the freedom to run even though she was wary of the horses.
The Miners Cottage lived up to its description.
Perfect for two and our dog

Comfortable and thoughtfully fitted out character cottage a lovely stay
We loved it! Great little cottage on a beautiful property. We loved being able to take our dogs too. The swimming pool was a beautiful temperature and the surrounding property was really lovely and peaceful. Linda and Jamie are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. 10 mins drive to Beechworth where they are some great historic sites, Ned Kelly tours and museum.
This delightful cottage on a picturesque rural property was ideal for a 3 day getaway in NE Victoria. It was homely, comfortable, rustic and made ever so nice by the warmth of the welcome from our lovely hosts.
We had a delighful stay at the cottage with our two dogs. Linda, Jamie and the puppy Eddie are wonderful hosts and the cottage itself is amazing. Clean, cozy with great amenities including breakfast.
The location is very convenient, only a short drive away from Beechworth and Yackandandah.
Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the charm of the cottage and all of the vintage decor. Hosts are lovely and friendly, including Eddie, the giant puppy! Would definitely recommend booking a cottage and exploring Beechworth and surrounds.
Cosy, comfortable cottage with lovely views.
All needs provided for including a nice breakfast.
Great place to take my dog with lots of room to run round.
Highly recommended.
We stayed four nights in Jamie and Linda's 'Miner's Cottage' and couldn't have been happier with our accommodation. It's much more spacious than the photos would lead you to believe - being a full-sized cabin with all modern comforts. It's also very tastefully decorated with quaint antiques - and has its own private balcony with a view over a paddock home to four horses. Highly recommended!
Great little 2 night getaway for our 21st Wedding Anniversary.
Jamie and Linda were perfect hosts and the cabin was awesome.
Thanks heaps, we will definitely be back
