Enjoy Southern Grandeur and Comfort in one of the most majestic homes in Apalachicola! Literally walk everywhere! The Inn is in the center of the Historical District and is less than two blocks from the restaurants, shops, galleries and pubs! Six Suites and One Studio available.

The IVORY PEARL SUITE is our most economical room with private bath on the 1st floor of The Majestic Jewel! Very comfortable QUEEN SIZE bed with fine linens. Beautiful new bathroom with stand up tile shower & waterfall shower head. Furnished with antique iron bed, upholstered chair, dresser, wardrobe & TV with Netflix & cable. Hardwood floors thru out. Before reserving this suite take a look at our other 5 Suites: Ebony Rouge, Vintage Rose, Studio Liberty, Autumn Moon and Green with Envy.

Guests are encouraged to use the common areas, the Grand Salon, Dining room, Hospitality Lobby, Kitchenette & the amazing verandas. Although we are not a B & B, we do offer guests self-serve coffee, tea, cold drinks, bottle water, oatmeal, milk & cereal PLUS an excellent environment to mix & mingle or simply relax!

We can't control the weather BUT we can control the heat! So sorry that you were chilly in your suite! Greg and I try to keep all of our guests comfortable, some like it toasty and some like it cool! It only takes a moment to change one of the 6 units that we have. Instructions in guest book clearly ask that guest let us know. We also have signs posted in lobby that say, if we don't know...we can't fix it. It is so important to us that our guests are completely happy with their stay. We welcome input on a way to make it better! Since 2 suites share one central unit we cannot have controls in both suites but we can control it with our iPhone.

Although this is a self serve guest house the owners greeted us after we arrived and texted them and were very welcoming. They keep it well stocked with coffee and drinks plus snacks and breakfast items. The room was comfortable and updated and everything was clean. The location is great and we walked everywhere. I would recommend a stay.

This is by far the easiest review I have ever written. Excellence is almost unrealistic to achieve, yet after our one night stay at Majestic Jewell, it is the perfect word to describe my husbands and my reaction. First off, we rarely stay at a non-water view place but since it was one night and a 2 hour drive from our home, we decided we wanted to really get to know the area. We visited the Gulf Specimen Lab in Panacea, Carrabelle History Museum and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reveserve where we walked the trails and boardwalk to the powery white sand beach. And then to the accurately name Majestic Jewel of Apalachicola where are eyes beheld the most stunning remodeling and totally refurnishment of what was first a private home, then a bank and now the eptome of "Excellence". We were warmly greeted by June and after a brief tour of the downstairs living area, husband and I settled into comfortable chairs on the front wraparound porch for our personal happy hour. We later dined at Up The Creek Restaurant where we and other diners had access to provided binoculars so that we could scan what only can be described as the one of the best panoramic view in Apalachicola. One reviewer said that June & Greg had provided every concievable need a visitor might have...and then some. TRUE as were all the other reviews. The Majestic Jewel will exceed your expectations and provide a most wonderful experience.
