About this property

This Chic style home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is part of Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Our home is fourth from the waters edge facing Southwest. Lounge in your private hammock or enjoy the gorgeous tropical landscaping and cool breezes on one of two balconies, dock or poolside, where you can soak up the sun steps from the house. The property also features it owns little sandy beach perfect for sunbathing. Breathtaking southwest views of the blue-green ocean can be seen from the balcony off of each bedroom.

Your boat, up to 24 feet, can be kept at the dock for your entire stay in the calm waters . Looe Key and American Shoal Reef can be seen from the house where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving reefs in the keys, along with the excellent fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or you can venture out to experience the history and action in Key West located only 17 miles away. In the immediate area you’ll find several very good restaurants, a gym/wellness center, and Cudjoe Garden’s Marina, a full service marina. The only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions.

Easter /Spring break annual vacation

The property and townhouse were all very nice. If your wanting to go to Key West multiple times during the week, this location is a quick 21 miles. Townhouse was very accommodating for two couples. Pool and tiki patio areas were all clean, plenty of seating, and quiet. Only con would be bicycles need attention due to flat tires. We would book this property in the future.

Spring Break with teenage fosjermen

Everything was perfect. Just like the description. We selected this property because of the boat dock and it’s only a short drive to Key West. We took an 18ft boat and it worked out great. We can’t wait to come back.

Just ok…

Overall the property clean. Advertise gated community. We stayed 20 days and not at anytime was the gate working. Advertised 4 bikes, 2 bikes had flat tires, 1 was for someone very short and 1 worked. Owner locks the thermostat at 73. It is 80 outside and your bedrooms are 3 stories in the air. Not the most comfortable. We paid a lot of money and she controls a lot. Also, claims to have sensors on things so she gets notification if smoke detector goes off etc…Note on the door and notes on the walls. Refrigerator drawers are useless because you can’t get the refrigerator open because of wall. High cleaning fee if $250. Everyone I talked to there had a $150 to 180 fee. Owner wants you to stay but controls your stay.

I try very hard to help my renters in any way I can, and I try to provide an exceptionally clean and comfortable home.

Why they chose this property

Sunrise Beach is always a quiet place to relax. With nearby dive companies, or your own boat, you can explore some of the most beautiful reefs in the Keys just a few miles off shore. Nearby Key West (17 miles) is always a fun trip for a wide variety of food and entertainment. However, three of my top five favorite restaurants anywhere in the keys are less than 5 miles away. You will be staying in one of eleven stilt homes in this secluded gated community.

What makes this property unique

Our house has a chic cottage feeling to help you feel like you are at the beach. come relax in the hammock or come and enjoy all the water activity the keys have to offer.
we supply you with sugar, tea, and coffee pods for the keurig as well as ground coffee for the drip coffee pot. We have limited spices and other pantry items that you are free to use during your stay.
We supply some paper towels and toilet paper to get you started and bars of soaps . You will also find bath wash, shampoo, and conditioner , hair dryers, and various other items in case you forget something at home.
