The hosts were very accommodating for us to check in early. The back yard was great for our dog. We watched Jan and her riding lessons with her students!! Jan and Rob were great to talk to !! The area was beautiful. Bed , towels , and everything was so good. They even had ice for us - which rarely happens. We brought a bag and left it We love to return again. We got the horses!! They are beautiful.

Knoxville Basecamp

My boyfriend and I stayed here for an event in Knoxville. The location was perfect to explore both Knoxville and the surrounding area including Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The property was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We would stay here again!

Easter weekend

We were delighted with this vrbo ! (our first vrbo stay) We were very impressed with how clean, cozy and comfortable the guesthouse was for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the coffee bar. We will definitely return to this sweet hideaway again

Visiting the Knoxville are

Great cabin! Had everything we needed for the week we were there. Centrally located for the areas around Knoxville we visited. Jan and Rob were great hosts! We'd definitely recommend their cabin/cottage. Oh, and watching the horses graze right outside our window was a bonus!

Great place to stay

We stayed 18 days while we were in between homes and it was great. The house is very well done and the space is used well. It feels much bigger than it looks. I work from home and it had an office space as in addition to the two bedrooms. Visiting the horses was.fun and the country setting was relaxing and quiet. The hosts were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Cute place tucked away on the horse ranch. Plenty of privacy, but close enough to watch the horses train. Big fenced in yard for the kiddos to run and spacious 2 bedroom with 2 separate baths. Far enough from all the hustle, but only a 15 min drive to all restaurants, Walmart, groceries, etc. Jan was very friendly and even let the kids have a quick tour of the horse barn. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was quaint and comfortable and clean. I would suggest leaving a cleaning spray to use for the counters and have a light to see the short driveway as we arrived at night and the cabin is hidden by the trees. We had to park our trailer we were pulling further down the road as there was no way we could park at the cabin and we had to unpack our bag for the night and since the road is a single lane we had a neighbor who had to wait until we unpacked the overnight bag and cooler. If we stay again we would just make sure we are not pulling a trailer.

Perfect for our family. Our two dogs loved the fenced backyard. They saw horses for the first time! We spent a lot of time on the back porch. Quiet and restful. Close to everything. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot

Loved our one night stay- would have loved to stay longer! This was a resting place half way through a 22hr drive. The cottage was clean and quiet. We loved sitting on the back porch and watching the horses graze. Check in was super easy. It felt very private and the hosts provided great communication and instructions! Would happily return!

Nice Stay

This was a weekend trip for a wedding in the area. The house is Rustic sits beside a horse ranch so you are able to see the horses. We were very busy so we weren’t able to sit on the porch and watch the riders train. They have pretty much everything you need for a stay, the beds were comfortable. If we need something in the area again we will definitely check out the availability.

Great bargain and very comfortable.

Stayed here for several days on business trip to Oakridge. Brought my wife who was able to work from the cabin due to their excellent internet (satellite). Also able to bring our dog.The house is very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen area is a little tight but we didn't actually use it for much other than preparing leftovers. The inside is far more spacious then it looks and very comfortable. I'd definately stay here again if travelling to the area. The cabin is very accessable to I-40 and I-75 so it is pretty easy to get to destinations. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away in the Farragut area of West Knoxville. Lots of rievr access parks a shot drive away as well. We went to a show at the Shed in Maryville and the drive there and back was a breeze. You can get to the mountains fairly easily that way going through Townsend which seemed less congested then going through Sevierville.Only complaint is no full sized coffee maker. My wife likes to pack her own coffee and we make a full pot in the mornings. There is a Kuerig and we had a reusable pod so it wasn't a big deal not likely an issue for most, but thought it was worth mentioning. There are also no fans in the bathrooms which can make it feel a little humid though when we were there the weather was very rainy which also likely contibuted. Might benefit froma dehumidifier.

Graduation trip

The cottage was rustic but had everything we needed for our two-night trip for our daughter’s graduation. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and the setting was peaceful. The only meal I prepared was breakfast, but if we had stayed longer, I would have cooked or grilled a couple times for sure! Loved visiting with and watching the horses.

If I could rate it 10 stars I would

We have stayed here multiple times and every stay has been impeccable-the experience is great, relaxing, entertaining (see horses) and a great way to both start and end your day. Close to everywhere we needed to go. A hidden charm in west Knoxville.
