Close & Comfy + 2 free bike rentals & linens!

When you walk in the door of this bright inviting house you will feel right at home. This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath island home has an open floor plan that is perfect for family entertaining.
Upper Main Level Living:
You’ll walk in the door from our relaxing front deck that overlooks the island to a living room with a sofa/love seat, dining area, kitchen and half bath. There is a large smart TV in the living area, so you can sign in and watch your own shows!
The kitchen is complete with a welcoming island and bench, granite counter tops, microwave, stove, refrigerator with ice dispenser, dishwasher, toaster, blender and a Keurig coffee maker. The first cup is on us! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to cook up your favorite meals!
Just down the hall you ll find the roomy Master Bedroom featuring a new King size bed, walk-in closet and smart TV. The bright crisp decor will remind you that you are at the BEACH when you wake in the morning! The Master Bathroom is spacious with its double vanity, soaking tub and tiled shower.

Lower Entry Level Living:
On this level you ll find a convenient full size washer/dryer laundry area and direct access to the backyard/patio for grilling out. The 2nd bedroom has a comfy Queen bed with beach chic decor, a TV and separate bathroom with tub/tiled shower.
Our 3rd bedroom has a Full size trundle w full size pull out underneath, with two new memory foam mattresses, a TV and large closet for sharing.
There is an attached garage to enter through and shake the sand off or hang your wet beach towels. It also stores a corn hole set, BBQ grill for rolling outside, and two adult beach cruisers. Peddle down to Majek Beanz Espresso for a morning latte, or stop at the Fat Pelican walk-in cooler and chill with a beer after a day on the hot sand! Even the board walk with restaurants, shops and the famous Britts Donuts is close enough to bike.
You are just a 8 minute walk to our Ocean Blvd Beach access, look left and you will find the Tiki Bar & Grill for some quick relaxation.
Your options for fun are endless here. Its all a little Salty, with a whole lot of Sweet, when you visit the Ocean at Carolina Beach!

Great communication with Tina! Fun house to stay in with our family—short walk to beach, extra beach chairs, wagon, boogie board. Coffee shops, gluten free donuts at Wake N Bake, Flaming Amy’s. We had a great time!

Family Vacation

We had a good week. Close to the beach for walkers...the bikes and wagon were monumental in helping to back and forth. Location is good. Water at Carolina Beach was beautiful blue, blue skies and wide beaches that are not crowded in June!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Sweet Ocean Retreat! The location was great, and a quick walk or bike ride to the beach. We enjoyed using the bikes, and it was so nice to have the garage to store things. The layout was great... The kids had the downstairs and we had the upstairs. Overall a really great, quick before school vacation!

Salty and sweet retreat

This beach retreat had all the amenities of home within blocks away of the beach! I love that other guests have left items to be used such as spices, beach toys, beach wagon etc. we walked to all the local food establishments Having little ones, it would have been nice to of had sidewalks. I would definitely stay at this place again!

Nc Beach vaycay

We had a great trip. The house was clean, well stocked and good distance to the beach. My 3 year old loved the giraffe and all of the mermaid decor. :) one thing I wish was there were blackout curtains in the master but other than that lovely home. The outside shower was a lifesaver with a sand toddler!

Carolina Beach - Great Place to stay

The property was everything it was billed to be. We had a great time. During the week we had everything to ourselves. We fished on the Pier at Kure Pier. We caught several fish including two large flounder. (Too bad it was out of season would have been great on the grill). We ate at great restaurants Freddies, Smokehouse (Great View), and the TIKI bar. Also great view on a small pier. My wife and daughters took full advantage of the bikes. Britt's donuts were so good. We had to go back for seconds. The place was extremely well maintained, we will look to come back when we plan to go back to the beach. Thank you again, Tina, you were very helpful and responsive. We did not have any issues but you were able to answer our questions and you were very responsive. Thanks again,

Nice neighborhood and close to beach.

Great area. Nice house, loved the porch and close to the beach. Very comfortable for 4 adults and a toddler. Porch is fully enclosed and there was a safety gate at top of stairs inside. Tina was very responsive. Would definitely rent again!!

We loved this relaxing location and thought the neighborhood was excellent for after beach strolling around. The house was lovely and met all of our needs except the pots and pans in the kitchen were limited when cooking for a family. We really appreciated borrowing the bikes and the wagon to take to the beach. Thanks for a nice get away.

Why they chose this property

Ocean Blvd is a great street to be on because you can get on and off the island quickly and it has direct beach access! A 7 minute walk!
Everything is a walk, quick bike ride or short car ride away when it comes to fun, restaurants, shops and tourist sites.

What makes this property unique

Only if you live at the beach can you really go crazy with "beach decor" and that's what makes staying here fun! It's comfy, cozy, reliable and has everything you need but it's NOT HOME, it's a beach RETREAT, which means it can be bright and bold with Mermaids on the wall!
