The Deck is a fully renovated, self-contained, three bedroom cosy beach house with one queen sized bed, two double beds and one double bunk, sleeping a maximum of 8.

The Deck has two living areas, each with their own TV/DVD and couch(es), one bathroom, separate toilet, full kitchen and laundry.

All linen including sheets, towels and tea towels are included, as well as tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, biscuits, cereals, jams and other spreads.

There are also a selection of DVD's, books and games available for your enjoyment.

The Deck is located a 3 minute drive (or 15 minute walk) to the beach, a 4 minute drive to the general store at Coronet Bay, as well as a short 5 minute drive to Corinella, or 7 minutes to Grantville and 9 minutes to Bass. 20 minutes drive to Phillip Island and 15 minutes to Kilcunda.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping back into so many happy childhood memories. The house has been so beautifully maintained, with so much care and attention to detail—it really shows. Everything was comfortable and welcoming, with all the little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. It was truly special to revisit a place that holds so much meaning and to see it so well cared for. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be staying again!

Fantastic location, very clean & comfy

Doggie Heaven

We have stayed at The Deck previously and were so happy to return. We love the accommodation and our two dogs just love the big backyard and the proximity to the beach.

Great place, clean and plenty of space and entertainment. Some snacks and brekky provided so your are covered if you forget stuff like we did. Good location to head out to Kilcunda or Phillip Island. Definitely ideal for a longer stay next time - we only had one night to spare sadly. Nice big yard for doggos, but keep an eye on them if you let them out at night, there were several chunky frogs at the back near the shed and under the deck so if your dog is one to snack on those you might want to be close by.

Lovely Little house, great fenced garden for our dogs!

Loved our stay, with an awesome, huge garden, that is fully fenced for our 2 dogs. Great dog-beach 2 minute drive away. Outdoor shower was handy.

We used The Deck as a base to explore the beaches around Western Port and Phillip Island. Great location, close to beach and general store. We loved the sunroom. Annette was very very helpful after I had technical trouble with the Stayz website.

Quaint and gorgeous.

The grandkids entered with oohs and ahhs, which is a big plus! The Deck provided everything that we needed; it was cosy and homely. Perfect for a night away or a longer family holiday. Communication was excellent, and even though we booked at the last minute, Annette was happy to support us with our trip. We loved it and will be back.

House is as described, short walk to the beach, the dog loved the large yard to run around, only compliant was the BBQ was filthy, we had to clean it before use and purchase a BBQ mat to use.

Lovely house!

The house being on a large block helped with parking our car and boat easily. The house is neat and clean. Everything we needed was within easy reach. Having some cupboard space for our own groceries was a bonus. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely home with everything including large garden.

Lovely home with everything a family could need. Including dual lounge areas catering for adults & kids, generous bedrooms & ample beds. The garden is a generous size for families with outdoor seating (and lots of grass for dogs to happily explore. The location was a 15 minute walk from the general store on a main road (you can hear louder vehicles from the front bedroom). Although we knew there is no internet, the TV reception was disappointing & we couldn’t watch some channels at all. Overall The Deck is a really comfortable, neat & tidy place to stay. It was great to be able to bring my dog. Thank you!

Nice place but needs thorough cleaning

This is a nice place to stay over for a group or big family for a Phillip Island trip, just 15 min drive away from San Remo.It has a really big backyard where kids and adults can gather and play badminton. Anette responds quickly on queries.I would love to come back and stay again IF the place will undergo a proper cleaning and maintenance. There are dog hairs everywhere including the bath towel. Floor has some dirts upon entering. Bbq grill needs a lot of cleaning, and run out of gas. Caretaker came over to check only to say that he had some alcohol so he can’t drive to get canister refill. It would be good if they check the facility before renting out. Kitchen utensils need to be sorted out as some are old and over used, i.e. Frying pan badly needs replacement. There’s no AC in the rooms so it’s a bit hot, it has ceiling fan but not enough as it was a really hot day when we stayed.

Easy communication and nice location, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Cleanliness was not great as we could find dog fur everywhere. Cereals were not available as mentioned, instead few oats packets, oreo and jam sachets . Kitchen with all facilities. Wi-fi was expected but not available. Excellent location and side/back yards. Had a nice time sitting on the outer deck.

Compact house on very large property. Loved having space around us, and the doggies love the room to run. Some aspects remind you that its not a new house but its obvious the host cares for it and tries to keep it fresh. Great place to be a base camp for day trips within the region.
