Nestled high above Yallingup Beach, this is the perfect retreat to soak in the magic of the Indian Ocean. Watch surfers from the wraparound deck with your coffee or enjoy a sunset drink as golden light reflects off the waves. Built with oregon and cedar, this beach house blends warmth with functionality, featuring vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, BBQ, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Just a short walk to the beach and Caves House, with wineries and galleries moments away.



The Space:

Melaleuca is designed for effortless coastal living, with expansive glass doors that blur the line between indoors and out. Step into a welcoming open-plan space where soaring timber ceilings, plush leather lounges, and a wood-burning fireplace create a cosy yet airy atmosphere. A curated collection of books and entertainment invites you to unwind, while ceiling fans and air conditioning in the main living area keep things comfortable year-round.



The fully equipped kitchen features a gas hob, oven, and all the basic cookware and crockery needed for home-cooked meals. A breakfast bar with handcrafted wooden stools connects the space to the dining area, which flows onto the enclosed BBQ balcony—an entertainer’s dream with a built-in grill and seating to enjoy meals with uninterrupted ocean views. The wraparound balcony offers multiple spots to unwind—whether it's sunbathing on a lounger, enjoying an afternoon read, or simply watching the waves roll in, then a separate enclosed outdoor entertaining area further expands the living space.



The primary bedroom offers a serene retreat with a king-size bed and garden views, while the second bedroom features a cosy queen bed. Upstairs, the loft-style sleeping area has a queen and two single beds beneath exposed beams, creating a charming hideaway. Two well-appointed bathrooms with showers, along with two separate toilets, provide convenience for the group.



Internal washing machine and dryer, and undercover parking are available.



A starter pack of wood is provided during the winter months only (June – August). This includes kindling, firelighters, matches, and wood. Axes are not supplied due to safety reasons. Additional wood may be purchased from a nearby fuel station or hardware store.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!

Nearby, the hidden Mermaid Pool and the natural "spa" provide stunning rock pool experiences, while the breathtaking Cape to Cape hiking trail winds through dramatic coastal scenery.

Wills Domain Winery offers award-winning cuisine with vineyard views, while Swings & Roundabouts serves up wood-fired pizzas and local wines in a relaxed setting. Aravina Estate blends gourmet food with stunning gardens and a unique sports car gallery. The Cape Lodge Restaurant presents an elegant dining experience with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Just a five-minute walk from the home, the historic Caves House Hotel is the perfect spot for a casual meal, a drink in the beer garden, or live music under the stars.



Getting Around:

Parking: Undercover parking is available for two cars, and there is additional space on the driveway.



Airport: 40 minutes by car.
