About this property
Coconut Cottage Little Onoeroa
Located a minutes drive from Oneroa Village & Beach, or 15 minutes walk, this is the perfect spot from which to explore the island! With a bus stop along the road, you don t even need to hire a car - you are a 10 minute bus ride from Matiatia Ferry terminal and the many wineries that Waiheke offers!
Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided and there is a well equipped laundry available for use in the cottage.
Note: the property is not to be used for any parties or gatherings.
Each stay incurs a $180 charge for quality linen, towels and exit clean so you have nothing to do but relax, refresh and enjoy.
Other things to note
Strictly no parties or gatherings. If you wish to entertain more than 6 additional people over & above those on the booking, please discuss your plans with us. The fact that houses on Waiheke Island are on tank water and septic systems mean that we do need to be aware of numbers in houses.
Description.
A large, light-filled, lovingly renovated 1930’s bungalow, ideally situated for you to enjoy the delights of island living. The house sits on a sunny 2300 square meter plot overlooking native bush.
The space
Coconut cottage is drenched in all-day sun. Wake to the sound of tui s and open the bi-fold doors to an expansive deck, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and G&Ts in the evening, in complete privacy, while the kids run around the 2300 square meter garden or explore the native bush with a track leading to a stream and waterfall.
The cottage boasts large, light-filled rooms, with two heat pumps (lounge and master) to keep you warm in winter & cool in summer. Plenty of space for holiday lounging in the large living room and separate play room. Enjoy a holiday dinner in the dining room around a 2.4 meter dining table or around the huge fireplace in the living room. There is also an outdoor fire and BBQ for more casual, fun dining.
The house is fully and tastefully equipped for children and babies or just a cool place to hang child free.
Wander ten minutes to a lovely local swimming beach, equipped with playground for the kids, food truck and good coffee. Or stroll 20 minutes in either direction to a number of stunning beaches.

This house is still being renovated and the kitchen and bathroom have not been done up. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped, and the bathroom is original 1960 s salmon pink! Though the bath is huge and shower is lovely and powerful.
Beautiful quiet street, right near the action when you need it.
Traditional indoor aga that still works and outdoor fire too
