Beach Fig is Located just a 4 minute stroll to the Ocean and a short 8 minute drive to Apollo Bay. The house features all the comforts of home and everything you will need on your holiday is catered for, for your enjoyment.

The property offers an environment of peace and tranquillity for those wishing to escape their busy lifestyles and simply enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Skenes Creek & Apollo Bay. Just a short drive will also see you in Apollo Bay where you can take advantage of the many local Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, retail outlets or visit one of the two Supermarkets on offer. If you enjoy exceptional dining with breathtaking views why not visit Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant, located just a quick 5 minute drive from your property.

There is an abundance of Books, Games & DVDs for all the family to enjoy or why not simply enjoy the ambience of the front deck (covered) with direct access from the Lounge, where you can indulge in a glass of wine with your family/friends, whilst cooking up a storm on your BBQ. Want more, a hop, skip & a jump will see you at the ocean for a spot of fishing or simply enjoy a swim at the Skenes Creek Beach with all the family.

There are two fully equipped bedrooms based around a functional central bathroom with a separate laundry (featuring all the essentials)

Nice spot

We had a lovely long weekend in Skenes Creek. House was well equipped and our toddler loved running around the backyard. No WiFi which seems unusual these days but wasn’t an issue for us. Beds good and shower pressure amazing 👍

Not dog, friendly

We requested a dog friendly property, meaning that the property/backyard would be 100% secure, however the fencing is wire and one side of the fence, The squares in the wire is so large the dog just jump through and the dog is medium in size and kept running straight onto the road and the other side fence just had an area which was damaged And you could see that it has been repaired many times with makeshift repairs, so this made the stay quite anxious for us as the idea was for the dog to run around in the backyard as we don’t have the luxury of grass where we live, and whilst the communication was via email and eventually a phone call, there was nothing that could be done, so if you have pets this is not a secure place.

We liked the location and the pet friendly set up. Place was clean and well equipped. It is over priced. The place needs maintenance, a dishwasher and wifi. The taps were creaking to every time we opened the tap. The creak could be heard by the neighbours it was that bad. DVD player is old and remote wasn't responding even after changing the batteries. If you are going with another family the toilet door isn't the ideal door.

Very pleasant

Very pleasant although the furniture needs updating. The beds and couches are soft. It was also much smaller than we imagined. Great location.

Great dog-friendly house

Beach Fig is a great place to stay for dog owners who choose to holiday with their pet. The good sized yard is fenced all around and our dog loved it. Inside, the house is comfortable for a small family and the location is good - the beach is only a few minutes walk and Apollo Bay is an easy 5 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay and have returned from our holiday there refreshed and relaxed!
