Welcome to your Anna Maria Island Paradise! Featuring a comfortable 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Beautiful master bedroom with a king size bed! The guest bedroom features a queen size bed with and XL Twin bed and mounted TV. There is also a real nice twin roll-away bed for extra sleeping. Enjoy the luxury of high quality linens. Fully equipped kitchen, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and new pots and pans. ..
Sit and relax on the screened in patio that has a wonderful view of pond and fountain. Full size washer/dryer in the condo, new AC. Free WIFI, cable, free unlimited phone calls in US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Beach towels, beach umbrella and beach buggy is provided and cooler along with a small charcoal grill.

PLEASE NOTE - Only 2 vehicles can be parked at the unit; this includes golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, etc.

Vacation on a tranquil island embraced by the warm Florida sun. This quaint paradise getaway, known as Anna Maria Island, is complete with the 'Old Florida Style' charm. Seven miles of warm-white sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico to swim, walk, relax, and collect shells. Mother Nature puts on a nightly show as the sun makes its descent. Enjoying the exquisite sunsets is one of the most magical parts of island life. Free trolley service, with a stop in front of the complex, can transport you to all the attractions on the island.

Amenities: Runaway Bay is a lovely vacation resort 100 yds. from the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We're located on beautiful 13 acres grounds that include the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island, private beach access, tennis court, shuffleboard, bocce ball, pickleball, fitness center, BBQ grills, kayak launch and fishing pier. Basic cable and WIFI internet access are included. 7 days minimum stay with monthly rates available.

Conveniently located close to Sarasota Airport (20 minutes) and the Tampa (TPA) Airport (45 minutes). Also, close to major Florida attractions including; Busch Gardens (45 minutes), Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World (2 hours).

So in love with Anna Maria Island - as well as this rental. The condo itself was extremely clean and well maintained, as well as conveniently located right at trolly stops leading both north and south. Paradise!

This is a beautiful property with very easy access to the beach. The area is well taken care of with many activities and attractions very close to the property. My boys and I enjoyed the tennis courts and the shuffle board. I used the fitness room just about everyday and you can't beat the beach area. The owner always does a great job making sure everything is ok with us. This is our 2nd year staying at this location and you just can't beat it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Runaway Bay!! Terry was amazing and she had everything you could think of or need right there for you. Beach towels, surf boards, a cart to carry your things to the beach. She had all of it right there! The condo was clean and decorated so cute and homey. When you walked in the door you felt right at home! The beach was a 2 min walk from or room and was our favorite beach on the island. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be back! It was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Terry for making our vacation stress free and amazing!

Great Location - Not-So-Great Guest Service

Enjoyed our stay for the most part, but felt like the property’s preservation was more important than our own safety and comfort. First, Hurricane Elsa hit the island, and the day before, a representative of the condo stopped by to secure the property. We were given no instruction, or warning on what to expect - felt very secondary compared to making sure their grill was secured prior to the storm. A print out was slipped in our door summarizing what information could be found on the National Weather Service app - nothing more to help us understand the possible issues that could arise from a hurricane on a barrier island. We ended up renting a hotel room in Sarasota to wait out the storm, due to the uncertainty of the weather event. We also received an aggressive voicemail from the property owner accusing our children of climbing on her tree (despite us not being at the property at the time, due to the hurricane). The owner then stated that if it wasn’t our children, then we needed to go outside and tell someone else’s children to stay off of her property. Her message was rude, confrontational, and the very reason we will find another place to stay on our next visit.

Making Memories

Loved the set up of the condo. Master bedroom was awesome & the master shower (water pressure) was the bomb! It was close to the condo my daughter rented. Between the two condos I had 5 of my 6 grandchildren there. We cooked and ate dinner together every night except one which was awesome. Washer and dryer was AWESOME. Made LOTS of memories with my family♥️Would definitely rent again. Thank you.

We always enjoy staying in this condo. It’s a great floor plan layout with separated bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you will need for a nice day. We enjoy the screened in porch and water view. Many birds roost in that tree right outside the glass doors. it is close to the beach and restaurants and a nice dock where you can watch the sunrise.

Relaxing time at Runaway Bay # 135

We recently spent a week in Unit 135 and it is as described by Terry in her listing. A very comfortable unit with all of the amenities needed to enjoy our time with no stress! Furniture, beds, bedding, all very nice. Beach towels, chairs, noodles and the kitchen is fully stocked with any utensils that one might need. The unit also had excellent internet service and a large selection of television channels. I would also mention that both the beach towels and the bathroom towels were plush and fluffy and much nicer than most hotels :). Bring your clothing and a few toiletries and you will be all set! We loved the easy access of the ground floor unit. The property itself is well kept and the grounds have many lovely flowers and trees. The pool is large, heated and enjoyable. An easy walk across the street to the beach. The free trolley stops right at the Runaway entrance and can be taken to many spots including the Publix for groceries. You can walk or hop on the trolley to many eateries. Bridge Street has a wonderful creperie. The Beachhouse has all varieties of food and is a nice spot to enjoy the sunset. Island Times on Bridge Street is good for drinks, munchies and music. We came to relax and that is what we did. We would certainly come back and would recommend Runaway Bay and this unit. Terry was very nice to deal with and all of her check in instructions, etc. were easy to follow. Enjoy your stay if you end up in these very comfortable accomodations!

Glorious Vacation on a Budget

What impressed me the most about staying on Anna Maria Island was how affordable it was! Renting the condo allowed us to cook our own meals which saved us a bundle. There was a local Dollar Tree nearby for anything we forgot. Access to the washer and dryer saved us from the expense of a laundromat. We didn't have to drive to the beach since it was so close. For anyone who wants to have a fantastic vacation that won't break the bank Terry's condo is the answer. After all, the sky and the sea and the sand are FREE.

A breath taking condo on a beautiful island.

My wife and I needed a getaway place to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and oh boy did we find it. Upon opening the door we immediately fell in love with this beautiful beach feeling condo. Everything was spacious and ready for our use. The master bedroom was large with plenty of storage and ladies there are closets galore so go ahead and bring your outfits. The kitchen is nicely updated and has all the amenities you'll need to make meals or snacks, then throw everything in the dishwasher. After all, you are on vacation. There's a washer and dryer so when you do have wet towels or dirty laundry, in they go. And did I tell you about the screened in porch? Yes, you can eat meals at the large dining table but the porch offers a table, chairs and a ceiling fan to cool you off where you can eat, sit and relax or play cards, etc. Then there's this closet filled with all kinds of goodies for your outdoor enjoyment. Beach chairs and umbrella, coolers, sand shovels etc, a bbq grill which we took full advantage of, and so many more things. Just bring your clothes, toiletries, your selections of specialty food items and you'll be at home in this beautiful condo. Take advantage of the pool, the dock leading to the water where you can sit and enjoy the scenery with your beverage of choice. We loved every minute we were here and are planning on two weeks next year. Get yourselves a calendar and make your reservations soon because this is Florida at its best. #135 Runaway Bay Condo, Anna Maria Island should be your next vacation spot because I know it's mine. The island itself is very family friendly, loaded with restaurants and specialty shops.There scenery is gorgeous and going to the beach to watch the sunset was any amazing nature show. We loved walking and seeing what the town had to offer. The beach itself was also very family friendly, the locals are very welcoming and helpful to find the right "secret" jewels when it came to restaurants. Don't worry if you get a rainy day because there is plenty of entertainment that you can enjoy in the condo from, board games, DVD player, books, etc. There is plenty of grocery stores, different types of restaurants from very affordable to more expensive. We did a lot of day trips also like to the Florida Aquarium (5*) in Tampa, Port Saint Lucy (to visit family) Miami (to visit a friend) and to the Lion Safari(5*)in West Palm Beach. Over all we fell in love with the condo, the island and the people.
