In Need of updates

It was a great location. The unit itself had some issues. The email said a supply of firewood would be supplied. We were left with 2 pieces. There was no firewood in the stairwell as indicated. The fireplace wasn’t cleaned from previous use. The recliner is falling apart. The knobs for the oven didn’t work. The toilet seat for the second bedroom was barely attached.

Condo was in a dilapidated state with holes in walls, broken/missing handles on furniture. Broken closet door with a sign that closet couldnt be used. Slum lord style upkeep. Porch outside wasnt cleaned with a broken tote filled with smoked cigarettes. Just alot of things in a state of disrepair. I shouldnt have to call the contact person when i rent somewhere months in advance and show up to a beat up residence. The list of rules to stay there is lengthy but your effort to make sure everything is in order is short. Before checkout time there were painters with masks and spray guns blocking all exits out. Had to get all of our belongings out avoiding the painters and paint on the walls. Had to get my 1 yr old and my 4 yr old girls through that poisonous air as well. Ignorant situation. No warning, no planning. An invasion of the time i paid for. Try harder. The place was comfy and we love the area.

Best - Location - Sit on the back porch and listen to the river. Beds were comfortable. Layout was good - bedrooms on either side of the living room. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, dishes, etc. Cleanliness could have been better. Toiletries, cleaning supplies - don't count on it. Many places we have stayed go the extra mile for nice welcome baskets, etc...this it not one of those. Looked like whatever the last occupant left is what you got.Had difficulty locating after dark - tried phone number of host but no answer. Finally located our unit but never heard from our host. Again, many places reach out at least once to be sure everything's OK .... this is not one of those.Would like to stay along the river again if we return but will most likely search for a more updated unit.

Great stay - our 2nd time

Loved this property so much - we decided to go back. Did not disappoint. Both times there were necessary upgrades (washer last year and stove & shower this year) to be made - but the owner was on top of them both last year and this year. The owner is EXTREMELY responsive and gets things done, if needed. The owner was also very pleasant and showed obvious concern for providing a great rental experience! We, unfortunately, got bad luck this year with loud upstairs tenants as this is the ground floor of a three story building - the year before that, however, it was as if we were the only ones there! Great, great condo!! Great, great location (right next to Loon)!!! Great, great owner!! Just wish the condo above had carpeting for an added sound barrier - just in case someone loud ends up above you.

Great ski condo to access Loon and Cannon!

The condo was great and had everything we needed. The one issue I had was with the wifi. The wifi network that was posted on the refrigerator did not appear as an "available network" on my phone so we did not have wifi access during our stay. Other than that it was great and I would return to this unit.

The unit was very clean. The unit is on the lowest floor of a multilevel condo complex. Unit looks bright and cheerful on the photos but in reality the interior is somewhat dark although that’s probably at least in part related to the cloudy days we had. The kitchen is well stocked. Unit is in good condition though a bit dated.

Celebrating our mini-moon ( 3rd year wedding anniversary)

My husband and I have been together for 17 years and this was our 1st time ever being alone for more than a couple of hours. This is also our 1st time in New Hampshire, always wanted to visit. The home is very clean pleasant, comfortable, spacious, peaceful and has the rustic feel that I love. The pictures in the gallery are slightly different due to some updates/changes and I love it and I love the large moose drawing in the dining room. Instructions are very detailed, any question you may have is written down in a book, I did not have to contact the owner for anything. Outside is peaceful also, and we're about 2-3 minutes away from shops, restaurants, liquor store etc. I cant wait to come back with our daughter, she will love it. I seen a chipmunk and was excited because I never seen one b4. On the balcony you can hear the waves from the river and its peaceful, the rock scenery is a plus. Once again it's so clean in here that I had to mention it again. I will return next year with our daughter and hopefully for a little bit longer. Great location, great stay

We came to hike and were gone all day but it sure was nice to come back and have a place to relax and get cleaned up. We love the RiverFront location and were happy to get a place there. The sound of the river in the background is soothing and we had a nice light show from the balcony one evening when there was a thunderstorm. Shannon was right there on the phone when we were stymied by the key lock box when we arrived. No issues at all and would rent this place again!
