Lovely apartment just in front of the sea and a cross road away from Forum Madeira shopping mall! Great location and mostly worth mentioning is that Marie is the sweetest host ever! Thanks Marie for all your help! We highly recommend a stay here!

The apt is nicely furnished and the host is welcoming and very organized. The property is conveniently located right next to the bus stop into the main town, a 10 minute ride. There is plaza across the street with a large grocery store and bakery. A highlight for me is the lovely promenade along the water. There's also a health club behind the apt building which I joined for a week. The host stayed in close contact with me whenever I reached out which I really appreciated. She provided a lovely bottle of wine along with eggs, toast coffee and milk. As I arrived late in the evening, I really appreciated having breakfast in the apt the following morning. The host is lovely and very thoughtful and accommodating. The only issue I had was with the driver David who charged me E30 upon my arrival at the airport and on my departure at a reasonable hour at 7:30 am , without informing me until he dropped me off at the airport, the return ride cost E45 - not because there was traffic, because there was absolutely none- but because he had to get up early in the morning to take me. I felt that was unfair. Had I known I would have taken another taxi service.

Lovely property in quiet building

We had a great two weeks staying in Funchal. Lovely well maintained property near coast. A good base for exploring the island and plenty of good restaurants locally.

Relaxing stay

Wonderful Stay!

What an absolute fantastic apartment, excellent location, very very clean, responsive Owner answered all our questions quickly. The view from the balcony was amazing! Easily accessible to many restaurants. The promenade, where you can walk along the beach, is just in your backyard. We loved our stay there and would definitely recommend.

Great getaway, ideal location

Rose Marie welcomed me for a week in her apartment, which was very comfortable to stay in and superbly equipped, she has truly made this a home from home for visitors. It is in an Ideal location with convenient shopping facilities close by and excellent transport links. Abundant eateries are within minutes walk and there is a lovely sea view from the balcony. There are also spectacular walks along the promenade close by.I would highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderful stay in Sao Martinho

The apartment is perfectly located close to all services. Very large and equipped with all the facilities to spend a stay like at home, with the added bonus of a superb view of the sea. The host was very kind and invaluable assistance. We loved our stay.

Great Location.

Great location with easy access for public transport, restaurants, a good supermarket and nice walks along the promenade. Facilities as described in listing, nice view from balcony. Owner is very helpful and communication was good. Overall a very nice place to stay and excellent VFM.
