House sits on The Cane river quietly tucked away from city noise. Historic downtown Natichotches is only a ten minute drive away, but taking your boat downtown from the dock in the back yard can be a fun experience. The boat launch is located less than a half a mile from the driveway with dockside fuel pumps and ten minutes by boat from the house.

The back porch is the length of the home, with plenty of seating, tables, a swing. It also has a grilling station with plenty of counter space and can be used as a bar area.

The kitchen has everything from toasters, waffle iron, crock pots, pots, pans, etc, including dinnerware, silverware, and utensils to accommodate a family of 12. Trash bags, dish-washing liquid, if needed, is under the sink. the Laundry room has washer, dryer, ironing board and laundry baskets

The game room is separated from the living area by wooden glass pane sliding doors. It’s nice for keeping an eye on the kiddos and minimize noise while they enjoy it. It’s also perfect for the adults to feel like they re having a night out without leaving the house. Has a pool table, dart board, cards, large smart tv , to watch the game or listen to music, bar area, with mini refrigerator & freezer.

The house is super cute and the porch overlooking the river was a great place to hang out, eat and visit. It was close enough to everything we wantrs to see and do. We had a great time.

We had a great time! The house was great just right for the six of us friends. There was an issue but the owner was on it pronto and had us back in business very quickly. The back porch was very nice and peaceful and we enjoyed hanging out there.

We'll be back!

We stayed here for a wedding in your area. We had four generations here and all of them enjoyed it. We were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. This is a beautiful home. Lots of room to enjoy family inside and out. Wish we had more time to relax and try a lil fishing. Oh well maybe next time, the vote was we go back and stay here again.

Christmas Vaca 2019

This is exactly the type of property we were hoping for when we booked it. It is located in a very quiet country setting on the river front, but is still only about a fifteen minute drive to the downtown historic district of Nachitoches. There is so much to see and do, not to mention the great food choices at the local restaurants. We only had a couple of questions before our trip and the owners were very quick to respond and also were very welcoming for our pets. A great getaway. Highly recommended. Billy L.

Good location but...

Unfortunately there was a problem with the cleaning service. When we arrived, two of the beds were not made and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. There were only half used rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom with no additional and one half used roll of paper towels. The owner had the cleaning service supervisor come by the next morning to redo the bed linens and refresh paper products. We also showed her the thick dust under the coffee table which she promptly took care of. Also, none of the dvd players were hooked up/functioning. We tried our best to connect one but couldn't. Thankfully the owner gave us the passcode so we could get movies on demand. Finally, the website photos need updating. The brown sofa, chair and coffee table are gone. The gray sofa and a nicer coffee table are now in their place. Still no dining table, which seemed a little odd.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean property

We used this property as a staging place for our annual family reunion. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to accommodate 2-3 people during meal prep and cleanup. The children in our group had a great time pretending to fish off the deck with the rods/reels stowed in the mud room. Strangely, there was a scheduling glitch early on that cancelled our reservation, and Bridget and Billy were great to make sure it was corrected and that I had the requested dates reserved. I had no more problems after that. There was no dining table, but an island has 6 stools. We were able to use an available card table and 3 chairs as well as a table and chairs outside to seat our group for meals. I recommend this property, and would use it again.

We absolutely loved this place. The house is beautiful the view is amazing. Bridgette and Billy made sure if we needed anything or had any problems they would solve them immediately. They were willing to work with our last minute pet having to come with us. The house is kid friendly. Great space and the pool table and room was great to have. It’s not far from Walmart and front street wasn’t to far a drive either. If you are thinking about this place grab it immediately. You will not regret your stay. All ready trying to plan our next trip.
