Illyria with Pool Spa and Relaxation

The quintessential Aussie beach holiday awaits at Illyria! While away the day lounging by the pool and heated spa, fire up the bbq midday for a lunch enjoyed in the shade of the alfresco dining area, and when evening falls strike up a bit of friendly competition in the games room with billiards table. When a change of scenery is in order, the beautiful bayside beach, walking paths and bike tracks are only a 400 metre walk!

Please be aware that the Mornington shire has strict guidelines that effect holiday rentals. These include restricting who can stay and the behaviour and activities of guests while occupying holiday rentals. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we feel don't comply.

The Space:

This holiday home is set in a quiet street very close to popular Tyrone Foreshore. Set back on the block and with high fences, Illyria feels like a private oasis for the entire family to kick back and relax. The interior is well designed with families in mind, providing plenty of space and separate living zones to spread out. The exterior is similarly spacious: spoil yourself with the Solar Heated pool and a separate fully heated spa amidst established gardens, or set up a holiday games tournament on the 2 lawn areas.

There are 2 bathrooms, open-plan living and dining area, modern entertainers kitchen and a large family room with Pool Table and kitchenette. A refreshingly shady undercover entertaining area with outdoor furniture and table tennis table adjoins the main living area and the rear games room.

If its water sports you love, the property has plenty of space in the large driveway to park a boat or jet ski.

Free Wifi

The Pool is Solar Heated and although this is effective in the warmer months of November to March there is no real heating effect from approximately April to October as it relies upon the longer and warmer days for the solar system to effectively heat.

No Schoolies or Party style bookings

Enjoyed our stay

The property is well maintained & apt for 3 families with young kids. Easy access to other places to visit. Had TT table & Pool table, keeping us occupied. Would have been good if spa was covered on top & pool to be clean (although we couldn’t use because of weather). Also, TV is not smart, so would need HDMI cables.

Loved the pool and spa

Property was wonderful except on terrible / rainy days there’s only free to air tv. No DVD player so kids got a bit bored. Kids under 8 need things to do and table tennis and billiards was just a little to hard for them. Apart from that property was very clean and it was awesome on warm days pool and spa were a treat.thanks for our stay

Close to beach

Proximity to the beach was good although the road is a bit hilly. House was clean and kitchen was well equipped. The equipment for the pool table and table tennis table was average. Fourth bedroom a bit of a pain as it was a walk through to the back of the house. Also had no curtains or cupboard. If these things aren't an issue for you then you would enjoy your stay. Fully enclosed backyard. BBQ was grubby.

The rooms are nice spacious. The pool table was a nice time passing game. Kitchen has all utensils and cleaning supplies. Would definitely visit again in Summer to use the fantastic pool.

Beautiful place

This house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the location and the outdoor/swimming pool area it was big and nice. House was clean, furniture was lovely but the only disappointment was that the house was lacking all the essentials. The only thing available was hand soap and toilet rolls which was a surprise because normally the basic essentials would be available. The house also needs wifi. Another thing was we had loud music on one of the days there, it was a Saturday at 5pm and so we didn’t think it was a problem, especially because 2 nights prior to that one of the neighbours had extremely loud music and we could hear them partying til midnight or just after midnight and so we thought it was ok, however we had a call from David telling us that a neighbour complained about our music, we then turned it off & it was no big deal for us but rather surprised that we got a complaint about it being a Saturday afternoon. Other than those let downs everything else was good. Check in & check out was easy.

Great space for groups

We had a great weekend- just a few issues- when we checked in there were building works going on at the property. There were workman coming in and out whilst we were trying to get ready to go out. We were unable to use the spa on Friday night as it would not heat however David was great and came over Saturday morning to fix it for us. We also had an issue with the oven not working. A suggestion- would be great to have a few pantry staples for cooking or indicate that there is nothing so that it can be brought to the house- we were caught out and had to go and purchase.
