Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The cabin is cute and comfortable. I think it needs to be advertised that there is not a TV. Also need clearer communication on pets so there are no misunderstandings.
Exactly as described. The kitchen is actually stocked with cooking essentials and Bozeman is around a 30 minute drive if you don’t want to cook. We enjoyed exploring the property and even saw some deer one morning. We love being able to travel and explore with our dogs and this place is fantastic for them. The hosts are available and very responsive if there are any issues as well. Highly recommend five firs!!

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. The host was very responsive and answered our questions very quickly. It was just the right distance from town, far enough away to feel peaceful yet close enough that shopping or a meal in town was convenient. Seeing the deer pass by every morning was an added treat. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen utensils, spices, trash bags, bathroom toiletries, etc. The heating system was sufficient for the evenings, and we appreciated the fans when temperatures rose during the day. I would offer a word of warning to people with mobility issues. Getting to the cabin’s main level requires walking up a flight of stairs, getting into the shower requires a high step into the bathtub and four of the six sleep spots are located on the second floor which doesn’t have a bathroom. These were not issues for us but would have been if our parents or older friends had traveled with us.
Very welcoming host Christopher came with a Christmas gift.. thanks again, that was so thoughtful.. such a lovely cozy cabin in a pristine setting.. was perfect Christmas setting for my family n they accommodate my every need...

Hello! So glad that you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the pictures. Hope your holiday has been all you had hoped for!
We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. It was peaceful and cozy. We saw deer daily and our pups loved having all the space to roam and explore. We would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from crowds, but still be close to Bozeman. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful home in a very private setting. House is very well setup and the owner is prompt in responding to questions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful house & great location!
We stayed at the 5 Firs Log Home for the entire month of July. The house was fabulous and came stocked with everything we needed! The location and setup provided the quiet sense of seclusion while still being only 25 minutes from town. We had frequent visits from local deer and turkeys. Great place for dogs. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wish we could have stayed longer! When we return to Bozeman, we will definitely look to stay here again as a first option. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay where you experience the beauty of Montana.

Great location, great cabin
The cabin was great! We were in town for a wedding, and having arrived too late to hit the store (snowstorm) really appreciated the breakfast foods. We loved the close proximity to Bridger, as well as the ability to quickly get to Bozeman to see family. The kids enjoyed sledding and we enjoyed deer watching. It was a comfortable relaxing stay and the cabin was decked out with everything you could need. Thanks again!

Just the place to get away from so much and enjoy the scenery and Nature. Yellowstone was a bit of a drive; but, worth every mile. The facility was perfect and we just had a terrific time....and, yes, the group of deer wished us a good trip as well....the elk did too.

Warm, comfortable and charming
My husband, myself and our adult son had a really wonderful week at Five Firs. The cabin is in a really interesting spot outside of Bozeman. We saw elk, moose and a ton of deer. There are also smaller wildlife—chipmunks scurrying on the porches and munching on the fir cones. We just LOVED staying there. Everything we needed was there and the hosts were available and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!
Host, Christopher or " Chrissy" was and is the most arrogant, disrespectful person I've encountered. Mary Ellen was beyond apologetic to me by Chrissy's behavior. I applaud her and her willingness to try and be accommodating. An incredibly beautiful setting but totally ruined by the Host , and the house is falling into the driveway. Not a level floor in the cabin.
The Five Firs cabin was everything I hoped for and more. It was clean, comfortable and accommodating but more than that was the attention to detail by the hosts that set this place apart. The bouquet of flowers and note of greeting on the table when we arrived, the dog bowl out and filled with water upon arrival and the phone call from the host making sure we made it in and had everything we needed were small things that made a BIG impact. Thank you Five FirsChristopher and M.E.the time spent couldn’t have been better.
Very clean. Never rented anything so well stocked with anything you may need. Didn’t know about the event center across the road. But was not an issue.
Thought i had left a review after we left but now need to say what a great place to stay this was for us. Quiet, clean , comfortable. It was just what we were looking for with our trip to Montana! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We have always wanted to come to Montana and this cabin did not disappoint! Beautiful views, quiet, perfect. We played games, talked, laughed......it was amazing! Thank you!
I can’t say enough about our amazing vacation at Five Firs cabin. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean, secluded, peaceful and relaxing. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We fell in love with this cabin and Montana and really hope to return again someday.
The hosts are awesome, the cabin is awesome, really enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautifully remote location, still easily accessible to Bozeman. The hosts have bird seed available, every afternoon we put some seed out in the feeders, sat on the deck and watched the show. The stars at night will knock your socks off.
My wife and I went on a week long work vacation at the Gallatin log cabin. We had a wonderful time working and hiking The cabin was fully furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and stocked, the internet connection was suitable for our online work, and watching the deer and birds provided plenty of entertainment. We enjoyed hiking around the immediate property as well as the surrounding areas. It's close to Bozeman (a lovely 20 minute drive). The owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommended!
