Located just north of Fenwick Island in a private gated community, this charming family friendly 3-bedroom 2.5 bath cottage offers you a great location with easy access to a beautiful uncrowded beach where you can walk for miles. Features include central air conditioning, washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen, 2 TVs, DVD, WiFi, screened porch, deck, charcoal grill and outside shower. Enjoy warm summer evenings with family and friends sitting out on the screened porch and deck! Just south of Bethany Beach and less than 1 mile to Fenwick Island with easy access to amazing restaurants, shopping and the surf and sand. The ideal beach getaway! Dog Friendly $250 Per dog per week.

Great value

The property and neighborhood is fantastic. Large naturally bright living room. The Sun is you alarm clock since the master bedroom faces the ocean. You are literally a few steps from the beach. We got the linen package, so every member of our family got their own towel set. The beach was practically secluded probably since we are of season and in between major beaches, but definitely loved not having the crowds. Conclusion, it was worth every dollar, I highly recommend.

Beachfront Beauty / Homestead Horror

You can’t beat the location of this rental! It’s right on the beach and steps from a public boardwalk with beach access. The views from the top deck are gorgeous and we appreciated that it was a gated community with a nice quiet street. Unfortunately, the house is quite literally falling apart. The repairs and updates needed to this house are immeasurable. Doors don’t close, drains don’t drain, and the beds are pretty awful. The owners belongings litter every room of the house. Their clothes are in the dressers and nearly every closet is full of their personal and private things. Very weird! The ceiling fans were caked in dust and you never got the feeling that the place was clean. House needs a TON of TLC. We’ve been renting vacation properties for many years and have never quite had an experience like this. We would recommend this house to a group of young people looking for a beach getaway and aren’t spooked easily by mess or clutter.

Not as advertised

I’ve been renting beach houses through Vrbo for more than 20 years and this house was simply not as advertised. Nowhere in the description was it mentioned that neither of the back porches had any furniture, or that the beach was a drive on and park your vehicle type. The house had not been cleaned and there were serious mechanical issues with all three bathrooms. Also, no outdoor shower, rather a dusty stall in the corner of the basement under a birds nest. The owners personal belongings were literally in every closet, cupboard and dresser, so we never had a chance to put our suitcases away and had to rearrange the kitchen cupboard to store our groceries. Did I mention there was no furniture on either of the back porches? I guess I did, but not that the ocean is visible only from the third-floor porch of the master bedroom. It’s a shame, as the beach was truly beautiful, once we got used to the presence of moving and parked vehicles. And if you like surfcasting, you will not be alone as I have never seen so many fishermen and women on one beach before. Very enjoyable. Had we been told that the beach was a drive on and park your vehicle in the sand type, we could have tried to get appropriate passes to do so. Again, very beautiful, natural beach but the house was very disappointing and not as advertised at all.
