Coquina Beach 1C, 2 Bedroom Gulf Front Ground Level Condo

**Please note that Sanibel Island is open for business! Coquina Beach 1C will be ready to welcome guests beginning August 2, 2025! The pool, tennis and pickleball courts are now open. Unit 1C is fully ready for your stay, however some other units and common areas on the property may still be undergoing repair. Please expect noise during daylight hours and trucks and equipment on the property. All public beach accesses are open, there are over 50 restaurants now open, and many stores including Jerry’s Grocery. Some areas of our island are under construction, but this should not impact your enjoyment.**

As you enter, you will know you have arrived to your beach vacation! The spacious and open concept floor plan is engulfed in natural light and decorated with fun coastal decor. The well-appointed kitchen is open and bright and adjacent to the dining and living areas, perfect for preparing meals while enjoying the company of family and friends. The dining table seats 6 but if dining al-fresco is your style, you will love the screened in lanai just off the living room. Gather on the comfortable sofas to watch the big game, enjoy your favorite shows on the large smart TV or just relax after a day on beach.

A luxurious primary suite serves as your private sanctuary, featuring a king-sized bed and smart TV. Your private lanai is also accessible from this bedroom. The ensuite bathroom boasts a large walk-in shower and spacious vanity. Guests will feel right at home in the adorable guest bedroom with a twin and full size bed & smart TV. The second bathroom is conveniently located just steps from the guest bedroom and offers a walk in shower and extended counter space and storage for your guests.

Keeping up with laundry is a breeze with full size washer & dryer in the unit. The owners provide everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella and toys are conveniently located on the lanai in a storage closet. Beach towels are also provided for your use.

Coquina Beach is a small, family-friendly 40-unit complex with a heated pool, tennis/pickleball courts and grilling area.

Sanibel Holiday's units are equipped with the latest Wi-Fi enabled locks offering easy check in and check out with no need to pick up or return keys. Everyone in the family can have access with one simple and, most importantly, secure code.

Annual Sanibel Vacation

But while we were there the Sanibel glass company parked their trucks and lifts in all of our parking space . When we got back from eating there was no place to park so we parked in the street and got a 150 dollar ticket. Which every one refuses to pay or at least help me!!! I will not stay here again.

I had told them about my disabilities and the condo they picked for us was perfect. It was literally just steps from the sand and water. When we arrived that afternoon everything was ready for us to check in. Overall the condo was clean but the dressers and tables could have used a wiping down, they were very gritty. I’m just a little OCD about dirt. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more. The staff at Sanibel Holiday were great to work with and very helpful and very courteous. The location of the condo was perfect to all the restaurants, shops and grocery store too. When we decide to come back we definitely plan to use Sanibel Holiday again and if this same condo is available we will request it.

Disappointing View

The landscaping bushes were so over grown that we could not see the ocean or beach. One of our favorite things to do, is to sit on the lanai and look at the ocean to read and relax. Not this week! The path to the beach was overgrown. We could barely get our beach chairs and umbrella down the path.We could not get the Cable TV in the living room to work during the stay. We had to stream off of our lap tops to watch movies.Towels for bathrooms and kitchen had to be washed everyday. The linen closet was empty. No extra bath towels or linens for the beds.The dishwasher was old and rusted. Had trouble getting it started.This was our 6th rental week in 2021. It was our least favorite place to stay. We did and will not re-book this unit for the future.The complex looks old and tired.Parking was a challenge. Work trucks parked in our designated spot every time we went somewhere. We had to track down the workers to get them to move.The Sanibel parking ticket lady was always on the street glaring at us and distributing tickets all day long to island visitors.

We have stayed at this development many times over the last 20 yrs, love the location and the privacy. This unit has a wonderful ocean view and is a short walk to the beach. Great air conditioning, great showers, Good functioning appliances and TVs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
