About this property

The Ducks Nest Cabin . Beachside unique farm stay. Privacy. White sandy beach.

Come enjoy tranquility in our birdhaven. The Camo Hut is a very unique space, offering a small but fully equipped private cabin with queen bed. It has a separate kitchen which is well equipped with everything you need for your escape from the busy world. From the deck you can relax on the swing while firing up the BBQ for dinner.
The share bathroom is only a 30m walk (2mins) & has a shower, toilet, sink & laundry area with washing machine. There is a very close compost toilet and shower which requires fire to heat water (plenty of firewood). We also have a romantic fire bath by the water that you are welcome to use.
The Camo hut also offers an additional decommissioned station wagon with a double mattress, the perfect bedroom for a couple of young adventure seeking kids or 1 adult. It is located 1m from the cabin.
The sandy Pahoia beach is only a 30m walk from the deck of your cabin it really is the best part.
You have access to kayaks, SUP, windsurf or dinghys, with life jackets of course, all free of charge (just please rinse it properly after use).
The tranquil waters of Pahoia are perfect for swimming at high tide, and a pleasure for fishing.

Charming, rustic holiday spot far from the maddening crowd.

We stayed in the camouflage hut, very clean and adequate kitchen facilities. Grand children loved the farm like surroundings, animal caters friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach and area, Tracey lovely and informative, we would go there again.

Amazing location. Very private setting. The inner harbour beach front is only meters from the door. We offer use of our kayaks to all guests at no charge.
Included is fresh eggs from our chickens & fresh lemons.
Catch your dinner next to the cabins if you like or take a stroll to the Pahoia Beach domain & catch a snapper for tea.
We have plenty of farm animals to entertain the kids with.

What makes this property unique

You can't beat the incredible location. Very handy to Tauranga CBD only a 15 minute drive. Omokoroa is only down the road offering restaurants, cafes, supermarket, liquor store & pharmacy. Katikati is only a 10 min drive. Plenty of attractions close by.
