This cabin was perfect for the girls weekend my friends and I had. The pictures do not do the view justice. Every morning we sat on the porch and looked at the mountains. It was beautiful! The cabin was great for the 8 girls that were there - everyone had their own bed. I would absolutely stay here again if I found myself in the area.

The owner was very responsive and personable. It had snowed, and he made sure the driveway was plowed. The house had all the amenities as listed, and made for an excellent week in West Virginia.

Fantastic getaway spot!

The location has one of the best views I’ve ever seen from a rental cabin. It is very clean and welcoming as well. It’s located close enough to snowshoe that you can quickly get to the village or to the train in Cass but can get back to peace and quiet when you’re done exploring. Note..almost everywhere closes at 9pm so plan accordingly. Would highly recommend this cabin and will hopefully be staying here again in the future.

The view was amazing! The cabin was clean. All cooking accessories was available for us. There were 9 of us and I really think that was the max for the cabin. Great communication with the owner. The couch in the living room has seen it's better days though. Will consider renting again if we go back.

Great time at this Mountain Chalet

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property for a ski weekend at Snowshoe. It is close enough to town and the resort for convenience, but feels like you are well into the back country. The accommodations were as advertised and the host was available and easy to work with. He made recommendations for activities that improved our stay and responded quickly when we initially had trouble getting the keys (our fault not his). The view from the window wall is excellent and my family particularly enjoyed watching the sun rise on one side of the mountain and bath the other side in light. Great location and beautiful view.

Summer Family Get Away

We enjoyed our stay even though we had a few glitches. Had some water issues that were an inconvenience but were able to resolve. The owner refunded a day because of the issues we had and was very apologetic for the issues we had. He had spent a considerable amount of money to have the problem taken care of this year and was surprised that we had experienced an issue. Truly beyond his control. Beautiful post card picture view from this place. My whole family loved it!

Thanksgiving in the Mountains

We loved this cabin! We booked for Thanksgiving weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was for our cooking needs. While getting there was rough for those that get car sick, the views made up for it! Our interaction with the owner and timely response was fantastic. We highly recommend!

Relaxing Vacation

The cabin was wonderful and the view was spectacular!! There were four of and the cabin offered plenty of room for us. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to make our meals there. Explored some surrounding towns and sights but mainly just relaxed. West Virginia's slogan is "Almost Heaven" and that is the truth....just beautiful!

5 days with lifelong friends in the perfect retreat

This house & location provided the perfect retreat for our group of 5 friends to reconnect & unwind. The view from the main living space of the house is breathtaking! The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook every meal right there & have all of the comforts & conveniences of home. We only left the house once to take a drive to the nearby ski resort. Although we were there in the off season & the resort was empty, the drive & views were beautiful. We experienced snow, sun, heavy winds & sunshine while at the house. The view always provided the perfect surrounding. Many thanks to the hosts/homeowners for providing us an ideal retreat. We would definitely plan to stay here again!

Fabulous ski chalet

My wife and I rented this house with our daughters and some of their college friends for a ski weekend. The house is beautiful and the views are incredible! It was perfect for us and the finished basement was a major bonus! I would definitely make sure everybody driving has a car with all wheel drive.

Beautiful, Serene, and Disconnected

This property is the perfect getaway for those wanting to disconnect and recharge. The view over the valley below is phenomenal and the natural light you get throughout the day recharging. Property is maintained well and I'd just advise renters to bring some chairs or tables to take advantage of the side decks in the mornings for some coffee outdoors in the sunlight.
