Good stay at a small house, everything was as it seemed on the website. Only small negative was that we couldn't find a dustpan or vacuum to clean up after ourselves.
The house is an absolute gem, the online pictures do not do it justice.
I've never stayed so close to Batemans Bay before and was pleasantly surprised by this little house.
It's tucked away off the main road on a nice little quite street that leads to a lookout.
The house itself is a classic seaside beauty, basic, understated and once you've made your way to the back deck, you know you're on holiday!
Uninterrupted views across the bay and down the beach.
The house has it's own direct access to the beach and public beach access steps next to the house.
The beach is very sheltered and offers the perfect environment for a young family, the water is shallow and gets few waves.
I truely loved my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone thinking of a holiday in the Batemans Bay area.
There is nothing like panoramic sea views, sunsets across the bay and walks along the beach to help relax and rejuvenate. This property excelled in location & views. The home was well equipped and tidy. Loved having a wine on the balcony looking across the bay with the soundtrack of the birds in the gums.
What a gorgeous place - clean, quiet and oodles of natural light coming through. Nothing can compare with the sounds of waves in the morning and waking up to such a million dollar vista.
All the linen arrived safely and was crisp and fresh.
We will definitely be back - soon.
Thank you very much for having us. 🤗🤗🏡
This is a modest classic beach holiday home, so well appointed in its site, with design details of its era - making the most of its beautiful setting. It was perfect for our small family and every day I was simply stunned by the view & comfort of the home. It has retro bathroom - so, we are not saying complete luxury - just a very comfortable and well appointed beach house.
We enjoyed our stay at Batehaven. The kitchen was generally well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. A highlight was the view of Batemans Bay from high above the beach. There are steps beside the property which lead down to the southern end of Corrigans Beach. The property is a 500 metre walk from the Batehaven shops which includes an IGA, good coffee at Crumb Cafe and pizza and seafood options. Overall a comfortable place to stay but maybe a bit bare bones for the price considering no wifi or dishwasher and BYO linen and towels.

Bushfire disaster
We were trapped surrounded by bushfires - no electricity, no food, bad air, nothing opened. No open roads. No petrol. We left the holiday 2 days early.
