About this property

Historic, sunny cottage - Walk to parks by the sea and downtown!

Welcome to St. Petersburg, Florida!

Our cottage is located in one of St. Petersburg's most desirable neighborhoods, 'The Old Northeast', and is ideally situated just a few blocks from The Tampa Bay waterfront, restaurants and bars, shopping, sailing, The Dali museum, the Muvico Theater complex, live music venues, beautiful North Shore Park, vintage markets, the historic Vinoy hotel and a continuous string of green parks that wind along the seven-mile waterfront and is home to many special events and festivals throughout the year. You'll be walking distance from all of the downtown attractions and there is also convenient driveway parking leading right up to the front door of the home.

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath residence is warm and welcoming and situated in family friendly 'Historic Old Northeast', a neighborhood of charming brick streets, palm trees, historic homes and the waterfront. It's an ideal abode for families, couples and singles alike to spend time on vacation, a weekend getaway or even enjoy a luxurious short stay while on business travel.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one en suite with a king bed and a second, smaller bedroom with a twin bed. Both bathrooms are located downstairs, one off of the king bedroom, the other off of the hallway. There is a third bedroom with a king bed upstairs. Also upstairs is a loft area with a pull-out twin, a chest of toys and a desk area.

The kitchen is compact but with all necessary equipment including a dishwasher, oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and all the kitchen essentials needed to make your stay comfortable.

Your home away from home is just steps from St. Petersburg's Beach Drive which anchors downtown shopping, dining and entertainment districts that include outdoor cafes and restaurants, world class museums and an array of shops, galleries, and businesses that line the city’s pedestrian-friendly streets.

We are only a 15-20 minute drive from The Gulf of Mexico and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With an average temperature of 73.6 degrees, St. Petersburg records 361 sunny days which means you can enjoy the beach almost anytime of the year. We are happy to share about our favorite date night or kid-friendly restaurants and activities in the area, feel free to ask!

Our lovely cottage offers an authentic taste of the city right outside your door.

Old Northeast.
Fantastic location. Comfortable, like staying at home - not rental rooms to go. Owner couldn’t be more helpful. Would return every year.

Winter 23
We had a great time in this really cozy cottage. It is in a wonderful neighborhood of St Pete, and we really like that the house is close both to the water and to the shops and cafés in the harbor of the city. The hosts were very helpful.

The BEST Experience
This house is in a great location, cozy (while spacious), and beautiful and the hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. We could not have been happier. The home is nestled back from the street, so quiet, but just a few blocks from shops, restaurants, and the bay. The upstairs living room is a perfect place to read a good book. I hope we can come back to St. Pete's and this incredible home. Thank you!! - K & H Rushton
