About this property

Cosy country cottage at Leithfield Beach, child friendly

Escape from the city to this delightful cosy cottage in Leithfield Beach. Very private cottage/country garden with country views.
35 minutes drive from the Palms/Northlands, Christchurch.

5 minutes walk to the beach. 15 minutes drive to the new Ravenswood shops and restaurants at Woodend.
10 minutes drive to Amberley and a little bit further on to Waipara and the wineries.

In the evening relax in the garden and fire up the barbecue or head on down to the old Leithfield Pub or the Better Half Kitchen and Bar for dinner.

Sleeps up to six guests. Layout is one bedroom with queen bed, sunroom with two single beds (bottom one a pull out), and two sofa beds in the lounge.

Child friendly as section is fully fenced. A port-a-cot and high chair are available.

Linen provided.

Please leave the house as you find it in a clean and tidy condition.

Cozy house

We stayed for 4 night, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Plenty or room. Fireplace was fantastic. House was warm. Kitchen had everything. Did day trips to wine region and Hanmer Springs.

Ideal place to relax with family

Easter Weekend Away

Cozy place in a nice location. The gardens are lovely and well maintained, and the house backs onto a field with grazing cattle. Lots of Birdlife visiting the garden. Fireplace was really nice on the cold evenings.

very tidy batch which had everthing you need visted the local hotels and eaterys and they friendly. played golf at the amberley beach golf course which is in very good condition. overall it was a good break away at a nice tidy batch with a great garden.

Beachside Charm

The property is is only a hundred yards or so from the pristine beach. It is a charmer inside and out. Clean, tidy, and comfortable, this is one of our favorites in all of Canterbury. Outside were close to a million blossoms on flowers around the property. Inside the cottage became a cozy home for us almost immediately. We give it our highest recommendation.

Easy to find and access with fantastic friendly communication. House was clean and tidy, warm and comfortable, and well setup with everything needed for a relaxing break away. Easy access to beach. Great location for wine

This place is so warm, really comfy beds and a perfect location if you're checking out the local wineries. Cute little botique shop close by and a forest work was very interesting. It was really nice waking up to Bell Birds singing and the waves of the beach crashing in the distance. Although I was there for a girls weekend, the place was well set up for children and families. Would reccomend this cute little cottage

Fabulous property

We arrived to a warm welcome from Anne, there were 4 adults and one 2yo staying. The yard is great for children, lots of room to run around in and fully fenced, although our 2yo soon worked out how to open the gate . Lovely outdoor to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Only thing I would say is the mattresses could do with an update or at least turning as not the most comfortable beds or pillows. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when back that way.

We had a wedding and family nearby so stayed in this beautiful cottage, in a great location. Day trips to Lyttleton, Christchurch, Hamner etc. Cottage has everything you need.
