Unique vacation property. Adorable duplex located on a deep water canal with no bridges to Lemon Bay. Each unit offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath . Over 900 square feet each side. Rent one unit for yourself and bring the extended family or friends to stay next door. Shared pool area. Our Seahorse Cottage boasts a canal view from the living room. King size bed in master bedroom. Queen bed in second bedroom. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and inside laundry room. Shared outdoor area with multiple seating areas. Gas grill available. Driveway parking available for guests. Quiet neighborhood. 4 miles to the beaches of Manasota Key and 13 miles to Boca Grande, tarpon fishing capital of the world. Enjoy taking in a baseball game at Charlotte Sports Park , 14 miles from our home. Charlotte Sports Park is the Spring Training center for the Tampa Bay Rays and the minor league Charlotte Stone Crabs. Numerous restaurants and golf courses in the immediate area. Water sports rentals available locally. Our boat dock comfortably accommodates two 22 ft boats. Electric and water available on the dock. Always a great stay!

We visited for the 5th time this summer and as always had a wonderful time! The house is nicely decorated, well supplied, and comfortable. We enjoy the quiet area and view down the canal. Weather was perfect and fishing was great too! We always hate to leave but look forward to the next year!

Great place for boaters!

This was by far the cutest and clean place on the water! Pool was very clean! Access to and from the boat was easy! Restaurants close by. Communication with Host was very quick! We will be back soon!

Always fantastic!

This is our fifth year staying in the Seahorse side. It is one of our favorite weeks of the year. The house and pool are always so nice and clean, the kitchen and bath are fully stocked with needed items, and the outdoor/backyard area over looking the canal is peaceful and relaxing. We cannot wait to get back each year!

Another great stay!

Even though the weather wasn’t great for Memorial Day weekend we enjoyed another great stay in the Seahorse cottage. The pool was heated and the house was immaculate. Jimmy and Laura spare no expense for comfort. Everything you could possibly need is provided. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing home. We are looking forward to returning for a week in July!

Home Away From Home

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt right at home. Very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. All the amenities of home. And of course, that water view. We came to Englewood to experience the area and had plans to dine out every night but Seahorse Cottage was so comfortable we chose to stay in most nights. I would definitely recommend this gem & will return should we be in this area again.

The Hosts Jimmy and Laura, are amazing, the property was ready early, so we got an early start on our much needed vacation! The property is pristine, in a perfect location, so from inside or out side, the perfect views. We met our Hosts at the end of our vacation week! They are a great couple. It was all fabulous, quiet, peaceful week. We hope to be back again soon!

Boater's Dream

Our stay was absolutely PERFECT! Just what we were looking for. We live 1 hour from here and we towed our boat, launched it about 1 mile away and TADA! Our little paradise!! Great boat slip, awesome screened in pool and beautifully decorated. The home was well maintained, well stocked and the furnishings were all updated and clean. Stores and restaurants are all within 2 miles away. We can't wait to come back again! Thank you for a much needed getaway :)

Awesome Vacation

We could not have asked for a better vacation. Jimmy was super nice. The place was super clean and beautiful. We felt at home as soon as we got there. We were close to our family,but had our own peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. Communication with Jimmy was excellent. We are hoping to rent again from him. All the little extras was thoughtful We would recommend anyone that wants a peaceful vacation to go with the seahorse cottage.

We purchased this property because we love the area. We enjoy the beach and fishing and Stump Pass offers both. Englewood is still "Old Florida". Stump Pass Beach is a hidden gem!
