A beautifully rustic cabin with an incredible view of the 500 foot deep canyon we are built on the crest of. The deck has a pair of rocking chairs to relax in while feeding and watching the deer! Nicely appointed with an armoire for the closet. A newly tiled shower in the bath, 2 queen beds, private bath, full kitchen includes; pots, pans, dishes, glassware and silverware. Washer/dryer combo. Comes with all sheets, bath towels, eco-friendly toiletries. Also included are local ingredients for you to prepare your own breakfast at your leisure, farm fresh eggs, locally smoked Canadian bacon, locally roasted coffee and more! Also has a Weber BBQ Grill and picnic table for your private use! We supply Charcoal and lighter fluid for your grilling pleasure! The Lookout is a 425 sq ft cabin great for that quiet country getaway to restore tranquility and clarity of life. Furnished with a pillow-top super comfy Queen bed which tucks under an elevated loft.

A semi-retired chef and a semi-retired corporate HR manager escaping the commute. We work everyday and love it all! The new folks we meet and start new relationships coupled with the animals and the weather are bonuses!

What makes this property unique

We have free range chickens that run the property and young cows that love to be fed cow treats from your hands. The treats are provided! We also supply corn for deer to be thrown out of the cabin for the deer that live in the area and are our constant guests! Breakfast items of Farm fresh eggs, locally smoked Canadian bacon, locally roasted coffee, biscuit dough and more that is stocked in your cabin for you to prepare and enjoy from the leisure of your cabin while enjoying the breath-taking view from the deck. We are happy to change items out to accommodate dietary preferences, IE Gluten free, vegetarian, Vegan etc.

The Lookout Cabin is decorated with original artwork from a Houston Artist and is available for purchase to take as a souvenir!
