Casa del Alma Gitana is a spacious private villa with its own pool, lush tropical garden, and roof terrace with jetted tub. Situated in a prime location within a 5 minute walk of some of the best restaurants and nightlife in town, yet still convenient to the Tulum beaches, Mayan ruins, cenotes, and lagoons, it's a perfect base from which to explore everything Tulum has to offer. The villa sits within a secure, gated community with off-street parking included. Wifi: 60 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload.

Stylishly decorated and modern in design with high ceilings, generously sized rooms, and lots of natural light. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people, or up to 7 for a small additional fee.

The villa's spacious, open-concept main living area includes a full gourmet kitchen, live-edge dining table that seats up to 8, and large living room open to the adjoining pool terrace through a fully retractable wall of sliding glass doors. The second floor master suite has a king size bed, separate daybed, and full en suite bath, and the first floor guest room has two queen size beds and a full bath. Premium mattresses and linens. The living area and each bedroom has a ceiling fan and is air-conditioned with its own separately controlled unit for your comfort. Outside, you have your own private pool, covered dining terrace, big roof deck with lounge area and jetted outdoor tub, beautifully landscaped garden with hammock and areas of both sun and shade, surrounded by a high privacy fence, and two outdoor showers. All outdoor spaces are extremely private.

Beach towels, yoga mats, and Bluetooth speakers are provided for your convenience.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

We loved this property!!! It was perfect and private and just what we were looking for. We would go back in an instant! It had all we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The pool was such a refreshing treat throughout the day to cool off. Even though it wasn’t in the nicest neighborhood, the Villas are in a beautiful gated community and I always felt safe. We loved Tulum! The restaurants were so good! Can’t wait to return!

Why they chose this property

After vacationing in Tulum numerous times and simply falling in love with it, I decided to buy property here. I'm the first owner of this home, having purchased it when it was just a cleared out patch of jungle, seen it through construction, and designed it to be a beautiful and peaceful escape. I stay here myself several times a year with family and friends, and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do :-)

What makes this property unique

A couple great things about the property- we're in a small and very secure gated community called Yaakunah, which has staff on site 24 hours a day. Even though there are other villas close by, they have been constructed so that each offers maximum privacy indoors and out. My favorite thing about the villa is its outdoor spaces - the private, treed garden with its patches of sunlight and shade, the pool, and of course the roof deck, which is perfect for stargazing at night! It's also a perfect in-town location ideally situated within walking distance of great dining, nightlife and shopping, but on a less noisy sidestreet in a mostly residential neighborhood, while still convenient to the beach, cenotes, lagoons, and other sites.
