Our stay in Fort Collins was perfect! Loved that this rental was close to campus and Old Town. We spent one day at Horsetooth Reservoir and it was also only a short drive. The apartment gave our family of four (two teenage daughters) enough space and we enjoyed the backyard and fire pit area in the evening.

Wonderful Spot to Land

Had an excellent stay and would recommend for anyone coming to Fort Collins. This was a ten minute walk from everything we needed and the clawfoot tub is to die for. Ben, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood

Enjoyed our stay. A note of caution to those who do not like dogs…the downstairs apartment occupants had a dog that barked every time we went up or down the stairs. Assuming that the dog was home alone and being protective? It was in a very convenient location.

Convenient location

The location of the house was convenient for walking and getting around to local spots. I was a little displeased with the cleanliness, or lack of in the apartment. Dog hair, dirt and crumbs all over the floor and mold in the bathroom. The pictures that were shown online are mostly of the apartment downstairs, not the one we stayed in?We enjoyed the backyard area and the quietness of the neighborhood. Overall, some updating of your photos and more attention to cleaning would go a long way.

Cute apartment in a stellar location, just blocks to campus and old town. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels and soap. I also appreciate that there were cleaning supplies and access to a vacuum to cleanup small messes. Really had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Sharing the backyard was a bit rough due to the other tenants in the downstairs unit who left loads of dog poop everywhere so the yard was completely unusable, but this wasn’t the owner’s fault. Also a couple maintenance things in the unit that need to be addressed, bedroom door hinge was broken so the door does not close, ceiling fan knocked a bit while rotating, but otherwise this is a great little place!

Colllege visit

Very nice after having to leave the first one I initially rented. It was NOT as advertised. Rented this after I already arrived upon seeing the first place was not going to work. Both rented from VRBO. However, was disappointed that VRBO re-booking tram never did call me as I was told, so had to te-book on my own. They did refund my initial Rental though.

I was excited to book this November for our Christmas visit to Colorado. When we arrived, I said to my husband that it was much smaller than I remembered. After a 15 hour road trip, we were just glad to have a place set our bags down. Very disappointing to see these photos again of what I thought we would have for our Christmas gathering, but not! We had the smaller upstairs unit with half the kitchen. VRBO and the owner need to straighten this out. It seems very much a "bait and switch." So sad to pay for it and not get what I thought we would!

Family Visit

The 3 rating is primarily due to the misrepresentation of the listing. This required us to change our plans considerably. We expected a larger living space as my daughter and I intended to cook and entertain a few guest. The listing showed a table setting for 6 and larger living area . Instead we received an upstairs apartment with seating for 2 and outdoor wicker table for the kitchen. A Kitchent stove vs a full range , not suitable for cooking full course meals. Hence we ate out more than intended . The seating was very uncountable even for 2 at night. The heating was arrange from another unit. That being said .. it was doable and for a stay if you intend not to spend time there it would have been amiable. It’s an older unit, if you get Unit A it is not what you see in the photos at all. The photos appear to be Unit B The host was very kind and very responsive to our email and the housekeeper was very sweet and very thorough. The place was spotless . So if your looking for a small clean unit walking distances to town. This is your space . More suitable for a younger person.

Be Aware Photos are NOT Correct

The property overall was good, knowing that it is an older home split into two apartments. However, the bathroom photos on the listing are wrong! They show a completely renovated bathroom with shower. The actual bathroom has only a clawfoot tub with a shower curtain that does not close all the way. It was fine for my husband and I, but my elderly parents, who were supposed to come with us but ended up not coming at the last minute, would not have been able to use the tub/shower at all due to having to climb in and out. I never would have booked the apartment if the photos had been correct. I booked the rental five months ahead and the photos were wrong then so they have had plenty of time to correct but have NOT as of Oct. 15, 2024. I'm not seeing other reviews saying the same thing.The only other thing I would point out is that sound definitely travels when the downstairs unit is in use. I could hear someone snoring during the night...through the floor! So be aware if you're a light sleeper or bring a noise machine.

Everything was good. We didn't use the backyard but we could have. This is an old house, but we didn't hear any of the other renters while we were there. The stairs are steep as in all old houses. Beds were comfortable. Appliances that we used worked without issue.

Perfectly located vintage charmer

Well maintained home with tons of classic character with everything you need for comfort. Quiet clean neighborhood, yet centrally located short walking distance to the university and downtown restaurants and shopping . I definitely recommend .

New West Fest Stay

Location was perfect for a 15 minute walk to Old Town Square (close, but not TOO close). We came for New West Fest, which was an amazing free event I will return for! The condo was clean, well-maintained and full of charm. Easy entry. We didn't take advantage of the expansive yard, but love to know I can bring my dog if needed.

Great stay in this very comfy and convenient apartment. So nice to be greeted with coffee, nice bottle of wine and snacks. Walking distance to CSU and many wonderful restaurants. Beds were very comfy and bedding was clean and very high quality sheets comforter etc. Apartment was lite and airy!! I loved that they had in bath an abundance of nice fluffy white towels to use!! All furnishings were contemporary and so nice. Kitchen stocked great. We cooked breakfast each morning. Ben, the owner was awesome to work with. Just so nice to stay somewhere quality with ease in check in etc. Ben was so kind to let us check in and out early late so we could be with our son who just moved here. I can't say enough nice things about this apartment. Nice front porch and GREAT neighborhood. Go to Horsetooth resevoir!!! 20 minute drive at most. Cafe Vino walking distance has great food. Also 415 Mason restaurant was fabulous. Thank you Ben. We will be back for sure and passing this on to all family and friends. Would be nice to rent out couple units here for a group of family. Nice back yard. Ok need to stop...fantastic place!

Great property location and dog friendly. Super quiet at night even though there is a fraternity on the same block. The property is clean and well decorated and the only suggestion I would make to the owners is to add shelving in the bathroom that will allow for makeup and other items; I ended up getting a bowl from the kitchen and placed it on the sink to hold my items. Also, note that there is a TV but there is no Direct TV or Comcast. Although, you can use your own Netflix or Amazon account via Apple TV; be sure to have your password with you.
