If you’re wishing for time to watch the ocean crash on rock, pelicans and seabirds fish and whales roll through the swell, Gardner Family House’s upstairs unit will give you the perfect perch over the south shore of Depoe Bay. You can overlook
boats braving the surge and surf as they motor in and out of Depoe Bay harbor. The kelp beds just off your backyard are attractive to seals, birds, and the occasional whale, and you’re likely to see lots of spouting from whales around and beyond the bay. You’ll love the big picture windows looking north and west in the living room, and you’ll be very comfortable in the reclining chairs and the sofa, which folds out to a queen sleeper. A TV/DVD and wood-burning fireplace will keep you cozy and
entertained after the brilliant sunset fades in the west. You really can’t escape the stunning view: the dining room has a west-facing picture window, you can watch whales in two directions from the fully equipped kitchen, and you can sit in bed and watch the gulls wheeling in the morning light from either bedroom. This house is well situated on Depoe Bay. There were amazing views of waves from every room. The light on the harbor entrance allowed you to see the waves even at night. It was very comfortable and nicely remodeled. Convenient to the shops and restaurants. A great stay!

The property was gorgeous! It is in the perfect location to walk into town and peruse the shops, or stay in and whale watch. The kitchen is amazing; I truly enjoyed watching and listening to the ocean as I cooked. I can see that parking is a little difficult during high tourist times, but we had no problems. That is mostly due to the fact we stayed in, or walked wherever we wanted to go. Local fish shop Crabby Daddy was our go to for fresh seafood. Fairly priced and incredibly fresh.

It was an amazing view and the beds were really comfortable. The recliners are a little outdated and not that comfortable but we really enjoyed our stay.. It’s a close walk to the little shops.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Gardner House property. The house was immaculate and had all that we needed for a cozy stay. 1 block walk to town shops. View of the ocean was spectacular with the sound of the waves ever present in the home. We all enjoyed our stay!

Breathtaking view!

House is within walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay. The view is wonderful. We were able to view the opening of the channel to the harbor. Good for boat watching! We will come stay here again.
